As Aussie as you get! It wasn't just Blair's skillful writing that kept me engaged, but as I reside in the location 'SOLD' is set, it felt quite 'real'. The Aussie colloquialisms, his descriptive and visual style was entertaining and at times, painted a very comical picture of the characters highlights and escapades. There were areas where the author was vague on certain events taking place - such as drug use and terminology, however, it was not enough to stop me from turning the page. Part of me enjoyed the central character of Gary Braswell and part of me wanted to give him a clip behind the ears. I did not warm to him as much as I would've liked and felt he could've done with more development for me to truly care about where he concludes in the story. In saying that, the action and realistic settings were thoroughly entertaining. Very strong Australian market - specifically on the East Coast. Great work Blair. Looking forward to more.
