This book was chosen by e as I had recently read the Mortal Instruments series and had quite enjoyed them. The writer has really developed into her style with these stories and the Clockwork Prince adds on to the story from Clockwork Angel. We find more about Will's past which makes us come to like him as we probably didnt in the last book.
The reasons behind his nature and for holding everyone at arms length are more apparent and you actually see the tortured soul beneath his rough exterior. He obviously cares far more for some of the other people at the London Institute than he would ever let on. But is it too little too late?
I cant wait to read the third book in this series and find out who Tessa eventually chooses, although either choice will leave me heartbroken for the one she doesnt choose.
