I wanted to go with ‘out of this world’ as a headline but this book is far too good for such a trite pun. The depth of research, the complex details and a genuinely compassionate retelling of racism and sexism faced by highly qualified and creative minds. Started the book at 8am, and cancelled my class and a meeting with friends to finish it.
An amazing read- one that my mind and heart is the better for having read it.
