This book was an insight to a horrific incident that happened to 17 people because of one mad man.Like most people I watched this unfold on TV and when I heard there was a book I had to read it. It was an interesting read and bought to light the insufficient policies of our Police for this kind of crime. For me there were to many chiefs and not enough communication between the different sections of our Police Force not to mention the lack of equipment they needed to deal with this crime. Not only did this put the officers in danger but the hostages aswell. The question as to why this mad man was given bail is still not answered and should have been. But the author could only write with what information she was able to get or was given to her. I read this book in 2 days couldn't put it down. It you are a lover of true crime then this is a book for you. I highly recommend this book.
