Customer Review

Good storyline and character development but spoiled by a few cringe-worthy language errors. The author regularly uses the word "irregardless," which is not a word. The opposite of "with regard to" is "regardless." He also uses "drug" instead of "dragged" for the past tense of "to drag." I know this is pedantic but I was a bit annoyed by these errors as I had suggested the series to my eleven year old son for school holiday reading (before having read the books myself). He is at that impressionable age when incorrect language use can become easily ingrained if seen often enough. The rest of the text is well written so I was a bit surprised to see these mistakes.
