I have been using an old digital probe thermometer for a while, for chicken, beef etc. always had to open the bbq or oven door letting out heat etc. plus the old thermometer took a while to get a reading. Being able to have this probe in the meat and then have another one spare for another reading is awesome. I am being super picky now but maybe the stands could be better angled or adjustable even. plus it definitely needs a case or a bag. Other than that, super happy with this for BBQ or just Oven cooking. Go buy it.
