They say the journey is half the fun and this is true for this book. While I figured out pretty early what was going on, it was interesting reading the layers that the author added which created depth and texture to the story.
This is a second book in the series but is standalone. You don't learn much about the first book through the events of it but it's nice to revisit "old friends". I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
If you enjoy Irene Hannon, Elizabeth Goddard, Lisa Harris, Lisa Philips or Susan Sleeman - This is definitely the kind of book you will enjoy. While I got this in exchange for a review, It is a book I would have purchased for myself or for the library as it will satisfy the reader.
