The final (third) pair I ordered felt like it was at least 1 size smaller (if not 2 sizes) than the first pair. The materials were rougher and less well finished. The heel rubbed my heels raw within a COUPLE of minutes. Not to mention that they were more than double the price and had abandoned any value and quality they had.
Such a shame. They were an excellent shoe 3 years ago, but they are a shadow of their former self.
I tried this new style because they have appealing style to them. Well some off the appealing style you see is that designer stitching along the side, that stitching immediately rubs your pinkie toe raw. And there is some kind of toe liner that appears to be to short and creates a stitching intersection on both sides of the shoe around your toes. It feels like the shoes are lined with burlap. I should of sent them back but I decided to use them for a crappy garden shoe, so for the last week I've been wearing them with socks and getting them wet to stretch and break them in. Just today they are starting to feel better but they do not feel anywhere as good as the older ones I've owned. I'll never mail order another Croc AGAIN.
