Worked well for us in Hong Kong and Vietnam. Just remember to plug it in “upside down” - took us a while before we figured that one out!

If you gonna connect it directly with the usb its slow charge. If you gonna use it as an adaptor it works

Yes it can. I used a charger plugged in along with a USB cable.

Hi. I purchased this adaptor to take on a cruise where the outlets on board are US sockets. It will plug into any style socket (AUS, US, EU) and subsequently accepts any plug. Hi As far as I know the plugs are only rated for UK/USA/EU/AU if South Africa and South America uses any of these ratings as some countries use USA plug you would have to check with the country or try these websites.
