So yes, it’s possible to have Alexa discover your sensors but requires modifying a few line of codes in the DTH. Only temperature is currently supported by Alexa natively. Exposing other capabilities can be done via a custom Alexa integration, such as this awesome app.

you could also look at alexa apps because she has many and some are great some are poorly designed but know that they are made by third parties

Yes it does except....changing colours. With the hub, Alexa can change the colours on command and with music.
Without the hub, Alexa just turns on and off

It works in "Australia", But im not sure if it works in "New Zealand" [But In my personal opinion Its a waste of money.}
