The transformer can accept Australian voltage and current but it is a US plug. However you can buy a good quality US to AU travel adaptor from Bunnings or somewhere similar for around $10.

Why wouldn’t you just use the one you get when you purchase this? In any case as long as the plug fits into the hard drive voltage will not be an issue

I assume you want to use it in Australia. It comes with US power plug, but you can request a free au plug from WD Once you receive the HDD.

Yes it will work well with the playstation 4. Keep in mind this needs its own power supply ( which is included )
