Do not buy from this seller. Disgraceful. I’ve also reported to the manufacturer.
It works well for whisking both hot and cold milk. Also good for whisking an egg.

As recommended, the item can be cleaned easily by rinsing under warm running water immediately after use, with a more extensive clean in warm, soapy water periodically.
After 15-20 uses the product slows noticeably, milk won’t froth/stretch, and the batteries need to be replaced regularly to achieve the same results.
After 6 months of normal use the motor has degraded to the point it is no longer fit for purpose.
The item is relatively cheap at under £10.00, but considering the 6 month lifespan and cost of replacing alkaline batteries weekly, it’s not as cost-effective as it would at first appear.
Update: Amazon were great at replacing the original, but the replacement lasted all of six months before that too gave up the ghost. This is a product that I only use about five times a week, so such a lifetime is lousy. I'm now giving up on Aerolette and trying alternatives.
They don't make 'em like they used to. That definitely applies here.
The new one is lighter and is more cheaply made. Gone is the stainless steel molded by one piece of metal, and there is more plastic used which does not give the solid quality feel of the old one.
Other differences are mostly positive.
The new one is a bit thinner than the old one.
The button in the new one is not as recessed as in the old one, as you see in the photos, so It's much easier to press.
Now I know I'm comparing it to a 10+ year frother, but I does froth milk better than my old one. The performance on the new one is noticeably better.
I just hope it lasts long enough to worth it.
