Product description

Product Description

When Abby enjoys a memorable night with a delicious 22-year-old, she easily waves him out of her life the next morning. She doesn't have time for these sorts of distractions. And he's only 22, after all! A child. But the charming young Marcus isn't going to let her get away that easily. He knows what he wants and takes it upon himself to prove that age is irrelevant where the heart is concerned. Abby, though, isn't convinced. She feels certain she should be with someone her own age, someone more impressive, someone more . . . settled. Surely nothing can ever come of this relationship?

I have read 2 of Zoe Foster Blake's books now and thoroughly enjoy the simplicity. It's a lovely story with all the ups and downs encountered by us all at some point. Zoe has a way of writing so you feel the characters are your friends and you are living the story. Definitely enjoyed the story and will read more of her work.

A bit of escapist reading. Didn't fully resolve one or two issues, but it didn't matter

Nice and easy to read with a storyline that grabs you. Loving Zoe's humorous and relatable writing style. Its a shame this book was (comparatively) so expensive on the amazon Australia store.

1.0 out of 5 stars Trying to be Sex in the City, but just awful 1 June 2013
By Szeling - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
When I'm stressed, my secret vice is chicklit and I'll pretty much read anything and enjoy it. This book however, was just awful, kind of a try-hard Sex in the City (which I love) about a bunch of incredibly vain and shallow women (even for eastern suburbs Sydney)so unlikeable I now have a special kind of personal loathing for the author. I did hope at one point that she wrote this as a satire, but no, we're supposed to like the heroine... I did actually finish it though, which I've never managed with a traditional romance novel, so that's where the one star comes in. I enjoyed this about as much as I enjoyed the second Sex in the City movie.
