Product Description

Lucie Gideon wakes up in a hospital, alone. Her family is dead and her home is gone, but she can’t remember a thing. She soon discovers, however, she can glimpse the future, and everything she sees seems to revolve around a mysterious man she's never met.
Greyson Ellicott hasn’t been a part of normal society in a decade. As a contract killer, he's learned to deaden himself so he doesn’t have to think or feel for anything or anyone. His carefully buried memory cracks open and reminds him of what he left behind.

When Lucie and Greyson meet head-on, destinies collide. Grey doesn't want to care about—let alone fall in love with—the crazy girl who has visions of him, but she's in the crosshairs of a murderer and he may be the only one who can save her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Much neeeed 8 November 2016

This was a much needed book for me. I have read some good books lately but nothing as fabulous as this book was. It is a book I was hooked on from the beginning page. I couldn't and wouldn't put it down. I kept on reading from daylight till dark just to enjoy more and more. When I was at the end I felt a little sad because I was still wanting more. It doesn't end in a cliffhanger but I just fell in love with all of the characters so much I could read for so many more hours. It wasn't just the primary chartered Lucie and Greyson either, also the secondary ones Nash, vivi, Andrew and Charlie. They were all amazing and made the story so much more than fabulous. It is packed with so much goodness hay I couldn't gush on it enough. I laughed so many times and swooned that many more. It was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!!!! The author is simply a genius and wrote the perfect story. Heck I wish I could have the previews. I mean I don't want deal with the amnesia and all that but the previews that would show me grey then hey sign me up. This is a definite must read!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars My kind of book! 17 April 2017

This book was made for me. It starts off with questions and pulls you in from the beginning. Why doe Lucie have amnesia? Who is Grey? How are they connected? Expertly, the author weaves the story with finesse, until you absolutely can't put the book down. I think there were times I stopped breathing and I know I stayed up way too late finishing this one. I loved all the side characters, too. Especially Viv and Nash. This is an author to watch.
4.0 out of 5 stars Deftly remix of Jason Bourne, Anastasia, and Final Destination created an above average romance 2 January 2017
By Guy Reviewing Romance and More - Published on Amazon.com

It's pretty clear where did the author drew her inspirations... A heavy dose of Jason Bourne, with a bit of Final Destination, and the myth of Grand Duchess Anastasia, and the result was surprisingly... readable, if a bit reliant on predestination and karma.

Lucie woke up in a hospital with no memory of who she was, but she occasionally gets premonitions, full visions of the future, except there was no context, but she remembers that face. Then one day, she literally found him next to a park... and his name is Greyson. But he's a killer, not unlike Jason Bourne, but without the amnesia and all that. But he left his old life behind to be who he is now... except Lucie's friends are all of his old gang when young. Is the universe trying to play a trick on him? But Lucie drew him in like no other woman ever did, and when her memory came back (and she remembered she was once Russian), he knew exactly what had happened, and he set out to protect her, one last time... Except she already saw his demise... or is it?

The characters are not terribly deep here, it's more about how much of previous lives blended into the current one. The amnesia and subsequent memory recovery were done well enough. And trope mixing was a bit on the long side. The ending was somewhat of a surprise, but I keep expecting the book to end and it didn't, and the ending went on and on...
4.0 out of 5 stars Different good 13 January 2017

This book was certainly different, and in a good sense. In the beginning it didn't grab me, but then I got involved in the plot and characters and couldn't rest easy until the end. Lucie wakes up in a hospital victim of a shooting and a fire, but has total amnesia. The psychiatrist who was attending to her turned into such a good friend that she had to recuse herself because feelings got involved in the treatment. A great BFF relation started here, which then extended to her husband, cousin and cousin's husband. It was great, how an insomniac has no memories but starts a great new life. Lucie was also plagued with psychic visions, and all her visions centered around this man, who would turn out to be the love of her life. Clearly, she was impatient to begin to love her life, limited as it was, so she could find him. Cue over to Grey, we find he's a killer for hire! However, a chance encounter with an old friend opens a chasm on his heart and brings up memories of his prior life. There's a relentless process going on and he can't help it, even more when another chance encounter brings him to Lucie and her group of friends. There's a lot of serendipity, lots of hotness, smexy fun and heartfelt moments, with intrigue and some suspense. Really, the book gets more riveting as you go along and it's such a great read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! 30 September 2016

Not often (or ever) that you can find a book with action and love that doesn't overdo one or the other. The author perfectly creates characters that play out the story as though you're there with them. I can't wait to read more from S.M. Lumetta!
