Like a dragon introduced rpg mechanics. for newcomers i recommend starting with Yakuza 0 and from there Kiwami 1, Kiwami 2, 3,4,5,6, Judgement, 7: like a dragon, Lost Judgement. i Love this franchise each game stands alone with its own story. i hope to play more of the franchise on Xbox as the release.

As a fan of JRPGs and Dragon Quest in general, it was amazing getting a chance to play a character like a fan. And with the amazing story telling and over the top action from the Yakuza series, you just can't go wrong. Plus the minigames are fun.
