I've bought 6 official xbox controllers since owning a series X and 4 of them have failed, 2 I've been able to "fix" by opening, cleaning, using iso alcohol on, and 2 are beyond my ability. Never had this problem on any previous generation console. They mostly get stick drift after a year or two of solid use, but bumper buttons failed on a couple as well. I wish MS would release some hall controllers, because third party wireless options are ridiculously expensive.

Otherwise, they do the job, until they don't anymore. Feels like throwing money away.
