A lot of back story, half way through the book before Cody even met the grown up Gena… by then I was skipping pages ,… near the end I really didn't care what was going to happen. I hate giving only two stars, but this book was just boring. Ho Hum.

Wrecked Intel (Immortal Outcasts #4) by Mandy M. Roth is full of action and humour. OMG this one is so funny I hurt from laughing out loud and so long at Gus and Wild Bill and the Scottish twins. Cody was lied to by the Government and found himself changed into something he could never have imagined. As if that is not bad enough, he soon finds himself in the hands of a madman who is obsessed with him. He also finds himself facing the one thing he never thought he would have but to have her means he must find and face the man who made his life hell.

Overall I enjoyed the complete story and that something positive happens at long last in regards to Helmuth.
Wow, don’t think I’ve ever been so turned off by a sex scene.
Cody was so classy and upfront with Gena. NO, he really wasn’t. Taking your mates virginity in the men’s bathroom of a bar, how disgustingly unromantic.
And Gena still doesn’t know about Cody being a shifter at this point.
The ending was totally rushed after we seemed to stagnate with little happening.
Having these in KU is great in that I can read them all instead of waiting for a price drop or my library.
It is great not having to wait for the next book but the downside of binge reading them is I get to see the lack of positive actions.
As much as I am enjoying these books, I feel I am just about done.
The continual downward spiral fight against the corporation feels like a losing battle and I hate that negativity of feeling.
Helmuth getting his say in this just emphasises how evil people truly are. Hurting and trafficking anything and anyone for personal gain, whilst not believing themselves evil.
Yes, some of the good guys get their HEA’s but at what cost.
It is about time all of these special mates with their enhanced powers or abilities take on an active helping roll.
Though we get some humour in the annoying antics of Bill, I miss the genuine warmth and fun of the first books where everyone felt like family.
These later books feel more like strangers who know each other.
Reading in Universe order through Kindle Unlimited.

I loved this book but it felt a little rushed.
You still have the action, drama and Bill and Gus to make things interesting.
Karma has finally arrived for one of the bad guys.....what’s a were-shark to do when the bad guys have his mate......lose his mind and save the girl.

This is part of the PSI Ops/Immortal Ops/Outcasts series
Many years ago, mad scientists used shifters, vamps and military men to play god, mix genes and creature super soldiers.
Cody is one such creature, but he’s an Outcast, one who went wrong somehow and he is part white shark.
Seventeen years ago, he is captured by nutty Helmuth, from previous books, who lures him with an injured, drowning little girl - the girl is Gena.
Ever since being saved by a shark, she’s obsessed by them and becomes a marine biologist.
She is destined to meet Cody later in life.
This was one of the most romantic, and funniest of the books in the series, because smooth surfer dude Cody turns into a speechless imbecile in front of adult Gena. Stunned by his reaction to her.
Wheeler is Cody’s wing man, providing immoral support and we have the Scottish twins plus rejects Bill and Gus, who are great fun, human, and completely bonkers but adorably annoying.
Most of all however, we have a great depth of research into marine conservation and sharks, plus a true passion through Cody and the author, about shark conservation.
As someone passionate about this too, I loved this aspect of the book.
It was informative without being over-preachy.

I usually have no complaints with this authors writing however this book from halfway through seemed really rushed, Cody is a character I feel deserved a much better book. Can't help but be disappointed. The ending was awful, yeah there's obligatory hea, but that's about it, it lacked depth and detail.

I really enjoyed this book. There was just enough recap, plenty of action and humour. I loved the interactions between Cody and Wheeler - just like two brothers constantly teasing each other. And Cody’s “Little Shark” was so funny! Of course Bill and Gus stole the show and it was lovely to see Cody get his girl. I’m looking forward to reading Wheeler’s story next!
