Still enjoyable and sweet.
1 - A HERO’S PRIDE
A very short but sweet read.
Not a lot of story due to shortness but what you get is very sweet.
Half the novella is a sex scene but it works well as it is dealing with a PTSD soldier who has lost a leg.
Liked both Kayla and Ryan but once again I stress this is a short read.
2 - A HERO SCARRED
3.5 stars due to length of story.
Another lovely sweet short read about a scarred soldier who finds love and acceptance with a special woman, as well as learning there are all types of scars people carry.
Jessie and Matt make a great couple and will support each other well into the future.
Loved that we had a glimpse of Kayla and Ryan's future in this book.
3 - A HERO FOR SALE
Another wonderful read about a soldier who has given more than one should expect of him.
I have owned the previous two books in this series written under Ms Taiden’s pen name April Angel for quite a while. You can read the other two books purely for the sheer pleasure of this series and to get a feel for this book and to also get a background on Kayla and Ryan but it is not needed. This book stands well on its own.
I never thought Ms Taiden would write another one so I was jumping for joy when I was offered this to read.
Addy is such a wonderful caring person and to have to deal with that sister, well she is a better person than I am.
Nick was such a good strong character despite his idiot thoughts about his scars but even those I can forgive him for.
Love both leading characters and it was wonderful to have Kayla and Ryan be such a big part of this book.
The twist in this story with the sisters made this such a good read.
