"Sexy and tender, Wound Tight had me smiling and squirming. Watching these two men open up and fight for their love is a must for any romance fan." - USA Today bestselling author Megan Erickson
When CEO Renner Bastion walks into a room, everyone keeps their distance. Well, everyone but the sarcastic, tattooed, Boston-bred security guard whose presence has kept Renner in New Jersey longer than intended. As if the unwanted attraction isn’t unsettling enough, Renner finds out his protector isn’t as unavailable as originally thought.
Milo Bautista just came out to his wealthy, ultra-confident boss, a man he secretly respects and admires…in more ways than he’ll admit. Worldly, experienced Renner would never look in his direction, let alone share some of that confidence he wears like a cloak, so Milo has set his sights on someone else to be his first.
Until Renner offers him private lessons in seduction...

Renner is the feared and hated alphahole CEO.
Milo the hot sarcastic security guard.
When Milo let’s slip his attraction to another man and his lack of experience with men.
But he might have developed a crush on his boss.
After reading the reviews I expected a little more substance in the story and steam in the smut. It’s not bad I guess but it was average at best.
Renner is a brusque, grumpy dude with a lurking softer side. Milo had previously been with only women and had zero experience with men, yet never questioned if Renner was the one - which I found astounding. So once I got over my shock I did enjoy these guys together; there were some nice emotional moments amongst the flirting, tension and passion as they work out how they fit together. It was a fun read but you definitely need to have read previous books in the series for context. 3.5 stars
HOLY SHIZZ – Tessa Bailey knocked it out of the park with Wound Tight. While this might be Bailey’s first foray into M/M romance, there is no doubt that she brings her unique brand of sexy characters, sexy times and sexy storylines to this, the final chapter in her Made in Jersey series. To say that I am sad to the end of this amazing group of friends in an understatement, but Tessa Bailey sends this series out with a BANG with arguably my most favourite book in the series.
I FLOVE when a misunderstood character, one that has been marked as villainous-like in previous books, is brought to the forefront. The intricate ways in which their underlying character is revealed through finding LOVE with the ONE always keeps me captivated and that is exactly what you get with Renner Bastion. I was so not expecting how much I would fall for Renner with his gruff personality that hid his inner turmoil and loving nature. Sure he is ALPHA through and through, but the way in which he opens up throughout the book – as he becomes more comfortable – and takes a leap when he knows there is no safety net captivated me. I could not get enough of him.
And I don’t even know where to start with Milo. The interplay of assuredness and vulnerability when it came how to use his sexuality and discovering what it meant to be him is what kept me turning page after page. I was pulled in by the way that his confidence complimented what he wanted with Renner and break down Renner’s walls. I loved that he was the light to Renner's dark. It was easy to see why anyone would fall in love with him with his easy-going nature, loyalty and pure magnetism. The way that he didn't let Renner hide is what made him an unreal character to me.
So while this may have been Bailey’s first M/M romance she without a doubt captured the nuances of men loving other men. Not at any time did I feel like it was a M/F story branded as something else. She gave a story that captured gruff love and solid touches and the thoughts and feelings that interplay within men. The chemistry was spot on and there was plenty of sizzling, steamy sex with these two. As is typical with Tessa’s books the heat level was scorching and the passion was extreme. She is not afraid to bring the emotions in with the loving.
As always, the writing in this book was so easy to read that I got caught up in the pages. I loved the way that Tessa brought these two characters together – Milo wanting to learn how to capture a man’s interest by asking the more experienced Renner to guide him. I loved that neither ever denied their sexuality or questioned it, even if Milo has only discovered his true sexuality.
In the end, I finished this book completely satisfied knowing that Tessa Bailey had delivered another romance that captured the push and pull of love, the passion that ignites between two lovers, the emotion of finding yourself, healing and THE ONE and finally a storyline that keeps readers captivated and the pages turning themselves. While this series is now done, I can’t wait to explore more amazing characters from Tessa Bailey.

The author?? Well, as her main stock in trade is m/f, I can honestly say I haven't read anything she's previously written. That being said, there is actually a story-line to this one, unlike Ella Frank's first attempt at M/M Try, which was meh, and should this author throw her hat in the M/M ring again, I'll definitely be in the queue to buy.

“Is that…the kind of thing you like?”
“I’d like anything that included f' ing you,” he rasped into Milo’s ear, thrusting them up against the fence. “You’d draw quite a crowd, wouldn’t you? A tight pretty boy getting it for the first time from his boss.”
This was my first Tessa Bailey and H O L Y Dirrrtty talk.
For real.
This is Tessa Bailey's first MM and I, for one, am so happy she has written it and that I have finally read one of her books.
This is the fourth book in the series but can definitely be read as a standalone, if you're someone who loves the little details and connections I'd say go ahead and read the others in the series, I've heard great things about them!
It's Milo's and Renner's book.
Renner is Milo's boss and they have a little bit of a love/hate relationship but there's more under the surface than that.
They pass the line of boss/employee when Milo asks Renner for help... with getting another man.
But once they cross the line, will they be able to go back?
‘Why did it seem like the beginning of something…better?’
Renner and Milo, *dreamy sigh*
Renner comes across as cold, and at times he is. He's also kind of a broken soul and at times he broke my heart a little. There's so much more to him than what people see.
He holds onto pain from the past but it bleeds out into his present and he uses it to keep people at a distance even if he can't deny his employee who has made it his mission to make sure his boss is looking after himself.
Milo is determined to see every piece of the man that builds his wall to keep everyone out.
‘The guy thought he could throw up a wall and Milo would bounce off? Well, he couldn’t wait to see the guy’s face when he kicked it down instead.’
Then we have Milo. Sigh. This guy. I loved his happy, determined attitude but that caring side especially with Renner killed me, turned my heart to mush even when he didn't know exactly why he cared so deeply for the man or even realized he did.
And his journey of his sexuality in this book was something I loved too, it may have seemed like it was sudden but it wasn't and I think it was done with care. It could be questioned why bisexuality wasn't mentioned or explored but I feel like Milo knew he was gay but he still needed to figure it out and I never got the feeling he might be bisexual. I think he just needed a little time to figure it out, to be confident in himself and knowing who he is.
And the two of these together? FIRE. The dirty talk, the sexual chemistry and when they finally were together. Add in their tender, beautiful moments. Ahhh! They were everything!
I love books like this where there's supposed to be someone else but I also hate them, that there's feeling of the 'other guy' but this was actually well written, and there was never really a chance for anyone else but Milo and Renner together.
“Dance with me?”
“You don’t dance.”
“I do now. I do everything for you.” The crowd closed in around them, not even bothering to be subtle about eavesdropping. “I’ll do anything. Just let me keep you.”
“I guess I have to,” Milo responded, heart in his throat. “Considering I love you and someone needs to make sure you take care of yourself.” Renner didn’t appear to be breathing as he stepped closer, leaving them only an inch apart. “Say that first part again.”
Milo moved in and pressed their foreheads together. “I love you, Renner.”
*melts into a puddle of goo*
So, not going to lie, I was going to rate this book 4 stars. Main reason is the ending, for me it was actually abrupt and I needed more. Saying that, I can't give it four stars, I can't not give it 5 because I loved it, loved these guys so much. Loved Tessa Bailey's writing, I never really comment on the writing but this author's writing is pretty damn great. Her writing has so much impact and just the way she structures a sentence is brilliant, her writing is pretty damn smart and I loved it. I can't wait to read more of her books and look forward to seeing if she'll write more MM because she Aced her first foray into the genre.

Renner and Milo couldn't be more opposite, yet they fit together perfectly. They complete each other in so many ways.
What starts as a boss-employee-relation turns into a lot more when Renner learns that Milo is interested in a man and asks for help and Milo learns about Renner's condition and offers to help him in return.
Their banter is hilarious and then spiked with hotness that makes the temperature rise in the room and the kindle to heat up.
But when both open up and become vulnerable to each other, they both become typical stubborn males...one a little more than the other for sure.
I loved Milo's easygoing and protective way as much as Renner's determination and domination.
Tessa Bailey found the perfect way to end this lovely series. You can find yourself in a lot of these everyday life characters. As always her writing draws you right into the setting of the story and the feelings of the character.
I do hope she will write a little more M/M in the future because she has the talent for it.

What I liked about this book , it was not just sex scenes between two men, the author really got into
each of the main characters heads and we were able to see what each man was really feeling about relationships
and taking risks etc.
Milo, one of the main characters, has just realized that he is turned on by men more than women, even though he has been on dates with women in the past.
Coming to work for Renner in one of his plants in Hook, has made Milo realize he likes men more and especially one specific
man ... Renner the owner of the plant.
Milo is very outgoing, easy going and a nurturer with a sarcastic mouth, he is the only one who talks back to the boss, who is withdrawn and
does not encourage anyone approaching to become a friend.
The book is about how their relationship develops between one man who is very new to the dating men situation, and who is not confident
as yet about how to handle all this, but Milo does know he wants to experience it with Renner, a man who is rich and his boss.
Renner, slowly comes to realize that Milo might be the one and only for him, but past hurts and Renner worrying about Milo just being at the start
of dating men, gives Renner many unwanted thoughts how Milo might leave him and he tries to protect his heart.
I just found it a very interesting book, with much more info on their thoughts about each other and how their relationship develops , not smoothly
that is for sure !! but very insightful and a great read.
I love Tess Bailyey's books and as far as I am concerned she does not write fast enough for me to get enough of her stories.
This is her first book between two males and I hope it is not her last, very well written and a great book to read.
