[Worthy of the Harmony is a continuation to Encore Worthy.]

She is guarded.
She is inspirational.
She is worthy of more than an encore.

He is alluring.
He is confident.
He is more than she ever bargained for.

Her stubbornness battles against his persistence…
His optimism outshines her resistance…
And their song plays on.

Sage McCoy has always been the type of guy who goes after what he wants. For years, what he’s desired most is to see his band, Mountains & Men, become more than Saturday night entertainment at a local bar. He swears he’ll chase that dream until it comes true, or he’ll die trying. Now, he senses that he and his mates are on the precipice of something amazing, and he’s never wanted anything more.

Except, perhaps, Millicent Valentine—the woman he craves above all others.

Millicent Valentine believes in one absolute truth: Men always leave. Yet, despite her belief that Sage will eventually tire of her, she can’t help but indulge her desire for him. She makes up her mind that he can have her body, but he isn’t allowed her heart. Though, she never anticipated that the leading man of Mountains & Men would be so much more than the arrogant little shit she imagined him to be.

[Worthy of the Harmony is NOT a standalone novel. It is best enjoyed AFTER you've read Encore Worthy. Intended for audiences 18+ years of age due to explicit language and sexual content.]

4.0 out of 5 stars I just love Sage. 30 June 2016

That cliffhanger though.

It took me over a month to finish Worthy of The Harmony. Why? I actually don’t know. I absolutely love R.C. Martin’s writing and she is one of the authors I turn to get me out of a reading slump however I just found myself putting down Worthy of the Harmony from time to time. This could’ve easily been read in a day, in fact it should’ve been.

Worthy of the Harmony is the continuation of Encore Worthy. We get a brief introduction to Sage and Millie’s story and in Worthy of the Harmony we get most of their story.

What I love most about the Mountains & Men series is that it’s so different from The Made For Love series in which this series is a spin off of. It’s sexier, edgier. R.C. Martin has the ability to write sweet, wholesome romances and the ability to write sexy, edgier, raw romances. They are so diverse yet both are executed with R.C. Marin’s writing and that I love so much.

Sage was a character we met in her Made For Love series and he’s a character that I needed to have a book. I NEEDED HIM TO BE FRONT AND CENTER. I was absolutely could not wait to read this book. He did not disappoint. He was definitely sexier (but we knew that already if you read Encore Worthy) but in WOH it was just so much more. He is definitely my favorite guy R.C. Martin has written thus far.

Millie was our main character and I love how real she was. I loved seeing her grow from the snippets we saw in So Much More to Worthy of The Harmony.

Sage and Millie together was just believable for me. We’ve seen it grow from Encore Worthy to Worthy of The Harmony. I cannot wait to see where their story goes from here.

I am looking forward to Worthy of Dissonance and you’ll see a review of it when it releases.
5.0 out of 5 stars Escape with a rocker 21 April 2016

Worthy of the Harmony is the first full-length novel in the Mountains and Men series by Author R. C. Martin. It is a rocker romance read.

"I'm the kind of woman who needs to hear the rich, alluring, sexy tone of my man's voice. It's what drew me to him in the first place. It's part of who we are."

Millie and Sage have a good thing going. They hook up, sex it up, and life goes on. It’s easy and convenient, no strings attached, no feelings to worry over. But, they have a unique connection that doesn’t quite fit this mantra for relationships; theirs is rare and special, but still with all the thrills.

"Come on Professor Valentine. Break some rules. Live a little! You know I'll make it worth your while."

I LOVED this book!! Told in dual points of view, Worthy of the Harmony was a rocker read like no other. The highs in the book were so explosive and tangible that I felt as if I were right there, in the thick of it all, taking part in their dreams. And, just like in Encore Worthy, when Sage dropped his sweet name for Millie, Doll Face, I melted into a puddle.
Being reintroduced to the band reminded me of the feel of being in one big family. They all had such tight friendships and admiration of one another. I cheered for them in their successes, and lowered the lights in homage to them when the going got rough. I loved that Millie was this solid, mostly predictable educator. Contrast Sage who, although educated, is a take-life-by-the-balls rocker. My heart broke for Millie as she tried to reconcile the immense passion Sage had for her with her own love encounters. But, Sage brought such a freshness and light to her life. It was like watching an awakening. There was no such thing as too much Sage. As impressive as his mouth was with lyrics, it was even more so when it came to his passion and endless desire for Millie. They both found the home in each other that they had never had, and brought out an insatiable and uncommon desire in one another. Filled with salacious laughter, scorching heat, and unquenchable love, Worthy of the Harmony is the perfect escape! I look forward to the continuation of the their story.

"She's the harmony to my melody, and our song has just begun."

*I received an ARC from Enticing Journey Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review*

Thank you so much Enticing Journey Book Promotions for sending me an ARC of this book and Encore Worthy! I’m very grateful!! After that ending of Encore Worthy i was so happy that i had this to jump into next!!:)

I was looking forward to the continuation of Sage and Millie’s story and Worthy of the Harmony did not disappoint!! There are a lot of ups and downs in this book but it makes for one heck of a story!! Ms. Martin cured my Sage loving heart and left me feeling ecstatic by the end. Ms. Martin sure knows how to mess with your emotions and make your heart a mess. There’s more action and drama in this one which was awesome in my opinion and it added a lot to the story. The age difference between the two main characters was refreshing because i rarely see the heroine be older than the male lead. The ending left me with my jaw on the floor and the wait for Worthy of the Dissonance is going to be torture but i’m looking forward to it!!:)

Millie Valentine was a character that became more open as the story progressed. It was interesting to see her change but in a good way. Being a professor she doesn’t take crap from anyone and it cracked me up how she wouldn’t back down from Sage. She had a smart mouth and was determined to stay away from Sage even though her heart was telling her otherwise.I disliked her mother and how much of a jerk she was. I’ve got a new favorite nickname thanks to her and from now one every guy i’m interested in whether it be real life or books shall always be called Sexy McHottington.😉 I hate that the her past messes with her present and her decisions regarding her love life.

This quote from Millie had me laughing till my stomach hurt “I’m being quite the silent bitch, but i don’t care.”

Sage McCoy was a character that was once arrogant (Okay still arrogant but in a sweet way) and to see him come out of his shell to be someone he wasn’t use to being was surprising which left me giddy. Him being the lead singer of Mountains & Men made my heart flutter, i’m no match for rock n’ roll men. I was so glad to explore more of how Millicent was his muse and how she inspired him to write songs. He was sexy and full of himself at times but that led to me loving him more. His relationship with his sisters was so sweet and at many points very hilarious during their interactions. He didn’t give up on proving what Millie means to him and he’s determined as ever to make his thoughts known by the last page.

One of my favorite lyrics from Sage is “Set me free but, baby don’t let go.” <3
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a rocker read that is hot as fire and sweet enough to make you smile. Pre-Order this one today! You won’t regret it!! If you haven’t already pick up Encore Worthy to see how it all began!! I sure hope you adore this story as much as i do! 5 Stars all around!:)

Worthy of the Harmony, picks up right where Encore left off. It's the last chapter of Encore, except from Sage's perspective and not Millie's.

Sage is an undeniably hot and sexy "dreamer". He's a motivated 21 year old, who's dream is to become a famous rocker with his band, Mountains & Men. It's all about the music. It's his life. He's determined. He knows what he wants and he goes after it full force. What he has his sights set on now, is Millie.

Millie is 26 year old college professor who has…dare I say it? Daddy and mommy issues. She has trust issues, and love issues. She doesn't open up easily for anyone. She keeps herself guarded for fear of someone "breaking her" beyond repair.

When Sage and Millie are together, they have undeniable sexual chemistry. This book is full of scorching hot, steamy scenes that will leave you breathless.

It's obvious they're both falling for each other, but the brakes are pushed to the floor with full force. ….Millie is hesitant. Her mother has put thoughts in her head that men are no good. They always leave. Love never lasts. She hangs on to these words and it disrupts their happy relationship.

This is the part I don't get (and this is my opinion), how does Millie let her mom get to her so much? How can she let her words come between her and the guy she's falling in love with? I don't understand it. They're obviously good together….obviously make each other happy…..obviously they make each other better people! I mean, he's a dirty talking, sweet, smokin hot Rocker who completely adores her! Who doesn't love that? Who wouldn't want that?

Ok, I'll give Millie the benefit of the doubt here. She's nervous about him becoming famous. She already doesn't feel like she fits into his world…his crowd of friends, but now he's going off for weeks, maybe eventually months on end without seeing her. I understand the hesitation with that. I just hope that she will come to her senses and see what everyone else see's…..SAGE ONLY HAS EYES FOR MILLIE!

Overall I really enjoyed this book. There were a few things that irritated me, but that's neither here nor there. Worthy of the Harmony was a great follow-up to Encore and I can't wait to see what RC Martin has to offer us next!
5.0 out of 5 stars A Rock and Roll book unlike any other I've read 20 April 2016

5 Standing Ovation Stars!!!

This is technically Book One of the Mountains and Men Series. However there's a prequel that MUST be read prior to reading this book or you'll miss the beginning of Sage and Millie's story. And what a story it is....

This book literally picks up exactly where we left off in Encore Worthy after the band has sung a song that Sage dedicated to Millie who he just met three weeks ago in what was supposed to be a "hook-up." But it became so much more than that for both of them. Only Sage was willing to admit it first.

This book was so good on a variety of levels. We get hot, burn your fingers as you're turning the pages sex, drama, angst and love all within the 250 plus pages. I found myself sitting down to read this and got pulled in from the very first page.

I loved how Sage knew what he wanted and wasn't going to let Millie deny what they have and could have. And to be honest I got a little irritated with Millie at certain points, especially the ending, because while she admits to herself the one-night stand has become more, she's so afraid of being hurt again. But here's the thing, Sage sees Millie unlike anyone ever has before which just endeared him to me even more.

There were also some things that totally threw me for a loop as I really didn't see them coming, but that's just what makes this book that much better because it kept me on my toes as I didn't want to miss anything that was going on in this amazing book.

Even though this is a cliffy, I would highly recommend this book as you'll be able to escape into a rock and roll world that isn't what we've all come to expect from a story like this.
