Product Description

"Words that Change Minds" is based on the Language and Behavior Profile (LAB Profile); an easy to learn tool which illustrates how each person is unique. The LAB Profile will enable you to understand and predict from someone's language in everyday conversation, how he or she will behave in a given situation. 5.0 out of 5 stars This book so far is not only a great refresher on language patterns 27 July 2016

Still reading it. I have attended a seminar of hers and have talked with her. Shelle is a master at this.
Being an NLP master practitioner I have been trained in language patterns and meta programs, and I do understand the LAB profile. I have also done a little work with Roger Bailey, who created the LAB profile. This book so far is not only a great refresher on language patterns, there is also lots of great, and useful information that learning.
I think it is written so well that you don't have to be NLP trained at all to fully understand it.

Love this book, but don't think that it will be an easy read. It is a very insightful book for those people who have to frequently interface or consult with others. The idea of "knowing who" you are talking to so you can "match" their language is really brilliant. The organization of the book is a little different, but on the second read it made a lot more sense. Well done, I've never read anything quite like it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really, really useful book 8 April 2015

This is an excellent book on Meta-Programs and gives lots of practical and powerful information. NLP is, of course, as those who study it know, the cutting edge of communication and change work. This book will give you skills for respectfully and positively communicating with others regardless of the nature of the relationship.

Very useful and well structured book. I especially loved the context part, as it holds true that we do different things in different situations. A very helpful book to improve communication and relationships at home and at work, be it in a leading or consultant position, as an employee or a manager.
