Decisamente sconsigliata.
While I had it out on the bench it seems to work fine for the basic functionality. The cameras work pretty well, they do get warm but not hot and nothing to worry about, so they should be ok in operation.
The Comprehensive Instructions are really a list of parts. The instructions basically say to plug the right plus into the right sockets. But to be honest, they are labeled well enough and it's pretty obvious what to do.
For the GPS unit however, the sockets were incompatible. The base unit had a socket the same as the power socket and the GPS plug was a small data connector the same as the cameras. They were never going to fit.
The button for locking the videos was OK, but lit up and flashed constantly. I think that would get annoying on the bike.
The main unit was OK, but definitely not waterproof. I know it says that in the description, but this is a motorbike unit. It does come with a rubber cover, but it's not transparent, so you can't see the unit or use the buttons, so next to useless.
If the GPS unit had worked, I would have installed it on the bike and put the main unit below my seat to keep it dry. Not ideal I know, but it would have worked fine.
The Apps that they ask you to install I couldn't get to work at all. The unit apparently has WiFi, but nothing my phone or either one of the two apps could see. I work in IT and know what I'm doing, I couldn't recommend using these apps at all. You will end up needing to take the card out and put it in a computer to access the files. No big problem, but a small pain.
The units record at about 1.2MB/second. A three minute video is 230MB, so about 1Gb for 6 minutes of filming with two cameras.
Or just over three hours for a 32Gb card, six hours for a 64Gb card and twenty four hours with the maximum size 256GB card.
The unit splits the files into 230Mb chunks if you have it set on a 3 minute loop. When the card is full, it deletes the oldest one and replaces it with the new one. When you press the button, it copies the files into another folder that doesn't get deleted.
Hope that helps you decide if you would like to purchase one of these. As I say, it would be ok if all the parts fitted together.
