The author starts off with a overview of herbalism and the benefits. She then goes on by breaking women's age into sections. This helps pinpoint certain lady problems to a specific age range and what herbs are best for those times.
There are recipes for everything in this book!! She has recipes for beauty, health, and even food such as brownies. There are also several very useful charts that make it easier to review herbs and their uses. I really enjoy having this book for referencing different herbs.
I would love to give this book 5 stars, but I did a little research on prices for these ingredients. There is quite a bit of different ingredients for each recipe. The prices aren't all that cheap on organic herbs and oils. If you add all of it up, your spending quite a bit of money on one recipe that may or may not work for you.
Overall this book is a great book to own, solely on the information the author provides.
She was very impressed by the scope of this book and the writing style of the author. It was a much appreciated gift selection.
