This is the first book that I have read by this author and seeing as how it was a freebie (which I appreciate), I thought why not!!!
This is another quick insta-love shifter romance and I did enjoy it but I always wish for more character and world development when they are this short.
I really loved Robyn and how her hearing impairment was handled, it wasn't the main focus in the story and I loved how Keil didn't think it was an issue on how she could be an alpha's mate (also probably due to the fact they called "talk" telepathically with each other I guess lol). I did feel she handled the whole being a wolf thing a little to easily.
Keil was a sexy, strong alpha with a seriously sweet side that was adorable and hot at the same time. I was a little bit disappointed how the alpha challenge was handled but at the same time I like Robyn's involvement and how powerful her voice was, that was such an interesting twist.
The chemistry between the H and h was off the charts and the sex scenes were pretty steamy.
Overall a little rushed but still an enjoyable read and I am mostly likely to continue the series at some stage.

This is the newer version.
This is a great story and just too short. I wanted more but by reading the series you get a lot more information and story.
Loved all the characters we met and it sounds like more fun will be on the way with the pack.
Keil is one hot yummy alpha and Robyn being deaf was definitely interesting and different. Loved it. She is one strong lady.
TJ is such a clumsy sweetie.
The author has added to this book since I first bought it and has kindly given me the extra additions, I love the added little epilogues we are getting.

This is a really cute read,
Robyn loves the outdoors and isn’t about to let the fact that she’s deaf hold her back, so even when her brother drops out of their planned trip she’s determined to continue. When she comes face to face with Keil, something changes and her life becomes something else, something that although new feels like home. Keil knows Robyn is his mate but does she even know what that means? And how will that work if she’s deaf? Well all will be revealed.
Loved this story, plot, characters, the banter is great, the insta love feels normal in this story, some angst but overall a love filled sexy time. Keil is a lovely character, warm and loving, it’s hard for Robyn to resist, but once they come together everything snaps into place. Would recommend, and although it’s part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

Not a very long book but well written and engaging. Robyn is deaf but independent. Her brother can't go on their trip to Akaska so she goes alone. Keil and his brother TJ arrive at the remote cabin. The bond between Keil and Robyn grows strong but Keil is due to fight to lead the pack and can't afford to get distracted. TJ is a hoot and constantly getting into trouble. He forgets that Robyn can lip read and that's how she finds out they are wolves.
