Praise for The Knight
A fine, carefully crafted novel, filled with mythic adventure and populated by fantastic creatures. I can't wait to read the next book.--Brian Herbert
"Wofe's words was over the reader with transparent grace and charming playfulness as he spins his profoundly imaginative, metaphysically complex, yet ever-entertaining tale with astonishing naturalness."--Publishers Weekly, starred review "Arising from the same sources as Lord of the Rings, the Wizard Knight is one of the few fantasies that can justly be compared with it."--Booklist --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

This is that book.
Wolfe is a brilliant author with an uncanny ability convey vivid scenes and subtle concepts with surprisingly simple words, and this talent is one full display in 'The Wizard Knight' wherein a displaced American boy with a forcibly curtained education writes of his life in a medieval fantasy world. Wolfe himself is of course far from uneducated and the deeper your own knowledge the deeper you can delve into the subtleties underlying an already excellent tale of adventure and romance, with 'The Wizard Knight' particularly emphasizing Norse mythology, Arthurian legends, and Christian theology. If you don't know too much about any of those, don't worry too much, you will after reading. Not so much all the names and chronologies and suchlike, but Wolfe always knows how to lay bare the heart of things.
