The book is full of relevant, interesting, historical facts about the eight holidays. The chapters are thought provoking, warm and easy to read. It contains a lot of information for a book that is slightly on the small size.
I have often found that, with various sources, there is a lot of religios jargon flying around so those relatively new to this area are baffled within seconds of reading the first paragraph... But with this book I did not have this problem at all!
Also, the time that the book reached me through the post was a nice suprise. I was told that it would take about a month for it to reach the wintry shores of England, but it got here a good amount time before the deadline! The book reached me in pristine condition, no strange marks or creases!
Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase, and I highly reccomend it (and its seller) to others!
This book came out of a series of papers he wrote on each of the Sabbats. I had copies of these papers and I am now very happy that they have been published, along with other articles, so that the general public has a chance to read them.
This is one of the musts for the Pagan/Wiccan for reference in your libraries.
