The stories are quite good however I do not believe each & every book is 220 pages. It should take me much longer to read than it does for that number of pages. I've been surprised from the first book how quickly I read through. The price of each book doesn't match the reading time to me.

I've currently read upto book 10 and i am so torn. These aren't the best books I've ever read, but I keep reading them in the hopes that all of the characters stop going around in circles, particularly the Jill, Jack, Luther, Drake, Lou things...

I've read 8 of the books in this series, so I must have thought something was ok. I find it difficult to decide whether the author wants to write a comedy book or a semi serious book. The jokey asides and banter seem to belong to one style and the attempts on the heroine's life seem to try and be serious and suspenseful but are not explored and nobody seems to take them seriously. Am I the only person who finds Jill's sister deeply annoying? She's saved their lives on several occasions and yet she still seems to be the butt of her sister's jokes. The cousins are just another pair of squabbling characters. I've persevered but I skipped huge chunks of this book so it will be my last - Sorry.
