Actually none of these things are even remotely like the others, but it’s my life and I’m going to make the pieces fit into a perfect puzzle—even if I have to shove it together and glue it with magic.

Caring for people wasn’t in my repertoire until I landed in Assjacket, West Virginia. Falling in love wasn’t anywhere on my agenda. It’s messy. However, I’ve been told messy is what showers and therapy are for. I’m hoping that info is correct because Goddess knows I’m trying.

Never until now have I been a witch that wanted it all—the guy, the job, the friends and the place called home. Now I just have to fix my slightly irresponsible and somewhat unstable witchy ways so I deserve it.

I’m going for perfect…or at least a loose definition of the word.

Oh my Goddess, did everyone think I was nuts? I mean I knew I was crazy, but… Oh. My. Goddess. This had to be what the Next Adventure looked like. It was all kinds of awesome. There are no words or maybe too many to PAWFECTLY describe just how Great balls of magical fire hot, hilarious and perfectly imperfect this book (and the series) is! It is COMPLETELY MACELICIOUS!!! I had the IMMENSE pleasure of reading this series one after the other and oh Sweet Goddess on high what a pleasure it was!! It was win-win-win. I LOVE following Mac, Fabio and the rest of the fubashianass gang from one zany adventure to another! But my ABSO-WITCH-LUTELY favorite part is getting to be Zelda!! She truly is one mother-humpin'-PAWESOME- ShifterWanker!! Getting to live her story, experiencing it all, feeling everything, living it all vicariously through her, well it is truly ZELDADAMNTASTIC!!! I laughed & giggled & laughed some more! Of course, there is a LOT more to this book and series than the hilarity! There are surprises, secrets, mysteries, magic, sad parts, hot Hot HOT parts, friends, family, familiars, love, lust, and the list goes on & on!! It even has Bon Jovi!! I love how every piece and part, big, small or mammoth - enhances, enriches & adds depth to each book as well as the series as a whole! The MAGICALICIOUSNESS that Robyn displays time and time again throughout every story she writes, every character she creates, the situations she puts them in & gets them out of, just ALL OF IT, is all the proof you need to know that she is MAGICNIFICENTLY & FURNOMENALLY talented as well as naturally, SHIFTASTICALLY gifted!! Not everyone can come up with so many zany & hilarious words, phrases, situations & more, have smoking hot scenes, all while keeping it fresh, unique, interesting and moving forward, to have storylines that not only enrich the story, but give it depth, which when all combined together produces one complete & well-rounded, CATIVATING, REMAGICABLE, ROBYNLICIOUS story after another! First off, this is book three in the series, so I apologise if I give things away from the first books. But if you haven't read those by now then shame on you for missing another great Robyn Peterman series! Anyways, I bought the book because I'd read the first two and couldn't wait to gobble up the next story. As for this book I spent a lot of time cheering for Zelda and all the weird denizens in her life. Mac, the shifter king, is hot as all get out and so in love with Zelda that it spins her emotions out of control! Too funny, but in a very relatable way. The antics are non stop and the situations that Zelda and company get into are hilarious!

Her dad, Fabio, has alienated almost the whole town with his poker skills and his cheating skills (at poker). He's decided that putting on the town's annual play/musical is a great way to win friends and influence people. One catch, they'll only let him if Zelda agrees to be in the show. Mayhem ensues.

Mac on the other hand has only two things in mind. One, have amazing sex with Zelda. Two, get Zelda to agree to become his mate in full. Oh and I guess there's a third thing, protect Zelda at all costs! Something that he is scary good at.

Add in all the wonderful shifters, like Roger the porno loving therapist, Wanda, the owner of the best Diner in town and some chipmunk's and fat cats (and I do mean obese), a psycho ex-cell mate and everyone else and you have one really great and hilarious story.

Don't think too long about this one, just buy the series and enjoy!

This is really a great series. You can see Zelda grow as a character while still keeping her humor. I love zaney characters and stories that make me laugh and smile. Each book get better. The characters develop more and more. You get to follow along in their lives and learn a lot about life and love and keeping your humor when shit hits the fan. Because at some point it will and why not laugh and make it into a joke whenever you can. Laughter is healing in it's own way. And it's a heck of a lot better then keeping your head buried in the sand in denial or running away or just plain crying your way through. It's one of the reasons I like Zelda so much. She knows she's a mess but she keeps trying to improve and be the best mess she can be. She learned from her trauma to make sure she dosnt make the same mistakes for her kids that were made by her mother monster. One of the reasons I love this series are the nuggets of wisdom splashed in with humor. It's not what other believe that matters it's what you believe. Its also what you know to be true. We're all a little bit of a mess or Cray cray. It's learning to love ourselves despite our mess and in a nutshell that's what this story was about. Zelda had the hard part down. She already knew she was a bit of a mess it was learning to know it was ok to love herself mess and all so she could freely love others and accept that, mess and all, she deserved to be loved to. All that and She did it the right way, no shortcuts.. I'd be lucky to have Zelda as a friend. The author hid a deep and awesome message in a fun and zaney way. That is one kick ass author!

For most of us, the person with whom it's the hardest to be patient is ourselves. That's certainly true for Zelda, who never knew a parent's love. As an adult, she's having to learn to care not only for others, but also for herself. She's doing pretty well by this book with the caring for others, but she still thinks she isn't worthy to be loved. Her recently discovered father who had been cursed to be a cat until her love broke the curse, decides to direct the community shift theatre and wants her to be the star. Unfortunately, it's a badly written musical of Mommie Dearest and, to top it off, she's tone-deaf.

She's seeing her therapist three times a day and wants to increase that number to four. After all, she only has eight more dates where no one dies with Mac before she has to decide what to do about her life. Right now, she still thinks running away is the best bet.

With humor, lots of humor, the book takes the reader on an adventure of self-discovery. Warning: the language and sex are graphic and intended for mature audiences.

I am always eager to read one of Miss Peterman's books because I KNOW that she will deliver a book that is fun and full of laughs, outrageous things, and sexy alpha males. Heck, I grinned even before I started it because, again, I KNEW what was to come!

I love Zelda and Mac! These two are combustible together and add in the fun and completely insane shifters, this book was a GUARANTEE win! I enjoyed the many array of shifters. Things are always popping up that will leave you rolling on the floor laughing, and shaking your head with the outrageous things that seem to come out of some of their mouths. It is pure fun and always a good time. I would absolutely LOOOOVE more in this series!

These books keep getting better! I love Robyn Peterman's style, how she can make me laugh my butt off and want to cry on the same page. Her books are that good!
Hilarious and good natured; you'll fall in love with this series, Hot Damned Series and her Were Series.
Pretty sure I own them all, and will read them again and again for pick-me-ups later.
This is a five-star series and then some. If you love to laugh, hilarious, lovable characters, and strong world building, you don't want to miss out. Robyn's books are fantabulous!
