“Gregg Jarrett has done it again by writing a superb follow-up book to his number one bestseller, The Russia Hoax. His stunning account of how unelected officials plotted in the shadows to influence an election, sabotage a duly elected president, and drive him from office should alarm all Americans.”--Sean Hannity
“If for no other reason, one should read Gregg Jarrett's new book, Witch Hunt, for its excellent and penetrating analysis of the Mueller Report. In-depth and comprehensive, Jarrett's breakdown unmasks the false narrative still being peddled by Democrats and the media.”--Joseph DiGenova, Former Independent Counsel and U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia
“Witch Hunt is both a riveting account of abuse of authority and a reminder of just how fragile our democracy can be. Jarrett thoroughly and convincingly paints a scary picture of officials at the highest levels of our federal government breaching the trust of the people in an attempt to undermine Trump's presidency and remove him from office.”--Jon A. Sale, Criminal Defense Attorney and Former Assistant Watergate Prosecutor
“Witch Hunt is a spectacular compendium....an encyclopedia of what went on in the biggest hoax and scandal in American history. I highly recommend it; it is an awesome book.”--Dan Bongino

As for myself, I stopped watching news on the television over a year ago. My problem with it was that portions were omitted in some broadcasts. Sometimes, as you know, just the omission of a single word or two can change the context of the situation. So, I chose to select and read books which I thought would be based on facts and not biased.. I am getting older (am in my 70's now) and have lived through a lot of US crises during my life. Now, there is so much to be done and the fighting goes on...and on..
Chapter 4 covers 'The Attempted Coup' and has a lot of information on Andrew McCabe *Former Acting FBI Director) and Rob Rosenstein (Acting AG). The author states that there was an abuse of their power and the discussion about wearing of a wiretap is covered.. The 25th Amendment is brought to light once again. Amazing chapter to read.
Of particular interest to me was the one titled 'Media Witch Hunt'. The information starts with David J. Kramer (McCain Institute) and Sir Andrew Wood from the UK. An explanation of how the 'dossier' was first placed into the Media. And, Buzz Feed is also mentioned as that organization was the one that posted 35 pages online. That, as we know, was the beginning...
The names we are familiar with including Paul Manafort, Gen Michael Flynn, Richard Gates (and more people) are covered in great depth. Some of the details I had forgotten but this author refreshed my memory.
A glimmer of hope is offered in the Afterword in that quotes from Attorney General Barr offered some insight. He cautioned that 'government abuse of power is equally as dangerous as foreign interference'. AG Barr has assigned John Durham, a top prosecutor in Connecticut, to examine the origins of the Russia Investigation. Whether or not the people that broke the laws will be held accountable is not certain.
So, yes this book is factual and backed up with footnotes. As the author states there is no collusion, and no reason for Mueller's investigation. Contrived and concocted ....yes, indeed! A most interesting read for me.
Most highly recommended.
On pg. 408 Mr. Jarrett writes that this book "chronicles the wealth of new evidence that proves" the thesis of his previous book <Russia Hoax>. As one who has closely followed the entire proceedings from their beginning, including reading other books, it turns out that I did not need this one. There is one thing that <Witch Hunt> lacks, that would have made it of more use to me. That thing is an index. A book of this sort and length generally has one. The fact this this one doesn't surprises me.
My experience with <Witch Hunt> leads me to believe that its author is one of those who seeks to 'cash-in' maximally from an extended, noteworthy event. He isn't the only one. But I guess I can't really fault those guys overly-much. If I (in my advanced age) could think of a way that I could join them, I probably would.
