H. P. Mallory is the author of the Jolie Wilkins series as well as the Dulcie O'Neil series. She began her writing career as a self-published author and after reaching a tremendous amount of success, decided to become a traditionally published author and hasn't looked back since.

At the end of the last book Jolie had witnessed Mercedes arguing with Sinjin on the beach and then, giving up apparently, she proceeded to send Sinjin to another time! So, in this book we meet a younger Jolie and Christa while they are still in the LA shop. The lightest banter in all the books takes place in Jolie’s shop so it is lovely to go back there. The only problem is that Sinjin gets to meet Jolie before Rand does and proceeds to turn her against him. He also sets out to make her fall in love with himself!
There are some definite twists and turns in this book but, again, very little action. It also raises a few questions. Is this an alternate reality or has time been changed irrevocably?

I loved this series and have just bought number 5 which was a steal considering it was 3 times the price. I can’t wait to dig in. All the different supernatural factions. The only gripe is that the main character thinks to much it takes up half of the time. Something she’s already pondered over is revisited time and time again and it can be annoying.

I like the way I was pulled into each character and must admit a love of sinjin.I wouldn't say it's a teen book as there is a few erotic moments which I quite enjoy as its done very tastefully.I remember reading the first in the series and thinking I never buy my books but have since relented and bought the next 3.Feel my next purchase happening very soon lol

I can't quite put my finger on why but I felt this book was not as good as the previoius 3 and didn't seem to grip me as much. Am sorry to say that I think this series has run its course and I struggled to keep on reading to the end.

It fills out the characters but does not have the most impressive plot and leaves you with more questions than it answers. The time travel requires much willing suspension of disbelief for the details. I do not feel that the series as a whole would suffer if you gave this one a miss.
