Wonderful Amish bookReviewed in Canada on 1 September 2013
This book has earned all of it's 5 stars! It was an easy read. I finished it in a day. The characters are well written and deep. The heroine, Sadie, was very believable and fun. Her love of horses is evident on every page. You will laugh and cry with her.

A calming, peaceful read.Reviewed in Canada on 3 February 2014
I generally give the Amish stories a 4 or 5 star as I love to read about the plain life. If the world were Amish, what a different world it would be. A very nice story.
A great book.Reviewed in the United States on 20 October 2014
A very different Amish book. I just loved it. A family moves from Ohio to a newer Amish community in Montana. The weather is different and the growing time for crops is very short. Sadie works in the kitchen of a nearby horse Ranch owned by a wealthy man. Her love for horses takes a turn when she comes upon an injured horse in the road. Through the trials of her family, the poor health of her Mother and her zest for life, she finds and tames some wild horses. The story is interesting and lets your imagination view the life this young girl has with her love of family and love of horses. I highly recommend this Amish read. Loved it!

LOVE OF HORSESReviewed in the United States on 23 August 2017
A different type of Amish story. This deals with a young girl, Sadie, leaving behind her horse, when family moves to Montana. Of how she deals with the different climate, and neighbors. Of finding horses that need her healing ways. Maybe even love will come. Delightful reading, especially for YA.
