There is so much I don't understand about this book. Why was it single POV unlike the previous two books in the series? Why wasn't it even 300 pages when the previous one was over 600? Honestly I don't think this book should have existed and it felt like a prequel to the final book which wasn't even announced before the release of this one. Bianca's character arc was completely ruined for me and felt like a huge cop out, the romance was outshined by everything else happening, rushed and underdeveloped. I feel nothing for this couple.
The mystery aspect is a weird addition and not well done.
Overall, a huge disappointment to what could have been a great ending to a series but is now just a way to get readers to buy two books instead of one.

Oh Man! Well damn, I didn't see that coming. Wicked Princess ended way too quickly compared to Cruel Prince and Ruthless Knight.
There are so many things I want to say but I just can't without spoiling anything, this is one story you will want to go into blind and have faith that Ashley Jade knows what she is doing. Also you should definitely read Cruel Prince and Ruthless Knight before this one as the stories are interconnected.
There is such emotion put into this story that you will feel all the hurt and love with this family. Bianca has one hell of a journey to take and it's not going to be easy. I don't feel like Bianca's story is over there are just too many unanswered questions, plus there was no butterfly at the end like there is in CP and RK.
I am torn on if I like the hero or not, I wanted him as the hero in CP then in RK I wanted someone else who I felt fit better. Wicked Princess I loved the hero and am really looking forward to a juicy story in BK.
Bring on Broken Kingdom, I have faith that Ashley will bring it all together in the end exactly how it's ment to be.

We finally get to peek into Baby Covington’s world with Wicked Princess and keeping this spoiler free is so hard. So what I can say is like with most Ashley Jade characters the ride you take doesn’t necessarily take you to the destination you expect.

This book was not what I was expecting but I liked how it all kind of sets up for what I’m guessing will be the last book in the series! We see a different side to Bianca in this and I loved catching up with all the Covington’s again!

I was really dissapointed in this book it just felt flat, it was like there was no story line at all it felt rushed and there was no chemistry at all between Bianca & Stone whatsoever. The first 2 books were amazing in this series, I don't understand what happened very dissapointed!!!! But after saying all of that it's still well written, just not the story I expected I'm sure when Oakleys book comes out im gonna eat my words

Wicked Princess is Book Three in the Royal Hearts Academy Series.
Each Book Follows the Covington Siblings. This Book is Bianca’s Story. If you haven’t picked up this series yet, then I suggest you do before reading this one as the storyline carries on throughout all books.
Going into this book, you need to go in blind and trust the journey that this author is going to bring us on. I will say it is such a wicked journey that I loved every moment of digging deeper into the princess of Royal Hearts and finding out the man who was going to tame her.
From the sneak peak at the back of Ruthless Knight, I knew that Wicked Princess was going to rip my heart out and in a way it did as we dig deeper then ever into this family. Secrets will be revealed and lies will be spread out onto the table.
All is not what it seems and this book took me by surprise. It had me feeling out of character, my emotions were out of place and it had me sitting on the edge of my seat in suspense of what is going to happen.
Biancas Story isn’t easy, it’s heartbreaking, full of angst, it’s raw, real, riveting. Above all that prepare yourself for the unexpected turn of events that will shock you.
Just like with all the other books, I especially loved the peaks inside their pasts. It gives us that more of a connection with the characters and it also gives us an insight of what Bianca went through and gives you the chance to understand where she was coming from.
I am not gonna go anymore of this book because I don’t want to give any spoilers away. I am just gonna say this one more time, go in blind and trust this authors process as their is reason for it.
This author has a way with her words, the whole story just flowed from start to finish. This book will grasp you from the beginning and I found myself not putting this book down until it was finished.
It sucked me in mind, body and soul. Quite frankly this author had me eating her words out of the palm of her hand.
Even after I have finished this book, I am still left with some unanswered questions. I feel like there is still more to this world that still needs to be told.
Hands down, go read this book. Trust me. You won’t regret it.

Wicked Princess is book 3 in the Royal Hearts Academy by Ashley Jade. It centres around the character Bianca and all that she has been through to get to where she is. The book is made up of a lot of twist and turns and you definitely need to have read the previous two books to understand the main character as well as how other characters interact with her.
There isn’t too much I can say about this book because it will give things away. But in brief, this book is raw, angsty, full of feels and also highlights how people can redeem themselves. Was Bianca mean in other books…..totally….. can she change….sure, but it is the circumstances behind what makes her change which is intriguing and at times heart-breaking.
Bianca’s relationship with her new guy is different to say the least and although there is chemistry, it didn’t hook me like the two other books and their characters. The book is a fast-paced read though and everything runs along quite quickly as Bianca and her man’s relationship develops. As always, it’s exciting to read books by Ashley Jade’s books and fans of this series won’t be disappointed.
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊

Delayed Emotional Rollercoaster
Reviewed in Canada on 21 August 2020Verified Purchase
Firstly, If you haven't read Cruel Prince and Ruthless Knight, you won't understand this book, so go back and read the first two!
If you are like me, invested emotionally in a story, you'll have a book hangover after reading this one. Which will lead to a delayed emotional rollercoaster once you are done.
You may be questioning yourself throughout this book and there may be unanswered questions at the end. Which will feel like this is a cliffhanger, so if you are not into that, I would suggest waiting to read wicked princess for when the fourth book will be out, so you'll hopefully have all of your answers by then. Yes, this book does feel uncompleted, but it's part of the journey and I feel that it's the introduction to the fourth book in this series.
This book was not what I was expecting, at least the way it's made me feel. Am I happy with the outcome? Not yet 😅 but I can't wait to see what the author has in the brain of hers in the next book!
I love it when an author follows her vision instead of listening to readers and changes the book to what we think we want to read.

Ashely Jade makes you feel everything, question everything!
Reviewed in Canada on 25 September 2020Verified Purchase
Ok, wow! So, where to start with this review!
I absolutely loved the sh*t out of this book but I think I'm left with way more questions then when I started.
Like every Ashley Jade book the writing was incredible and she knows how to hook you. And once you're in she definitely knows just when and where to make the hits, to make you invested and fall for these characters.
I'm having trouble conveying with words how much I loved and loathed (just a little, but in the best way possible) this book. I can't tell you how many times I said 'WTF' or yelled at Bianca while reading Wicked Princess.
Ashely Jade makes you feel everything, question everything! She has such a talent for writing incredibly damaged characters and makes the reader connect with them in ways you never thought possible. And Wicked Princess is no exception.
And now, I'll just be over here not so patiently waiting for the next installment.
Seriously, if you've read the first 2 books in the Royal Hearts Academy series then you definitely NEED to read this one! (And then come back and let me know what what you think).
