Always a good read well worth it.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 October 2017
Never disappointed with a Krewe book. Love the interaction and resolutions for the living and the passed. Always lots of action and intrigue. The presence of the great Mr. Poe and the use and manipulation of his works was epic! I really enjoyed this book especially the arrival of the head honchos of the krewe and the series originals was a wonderful blast from the past. Adam's son joining our lovable and loving young people gave us a trio of mischievousness which introduced a nice comic element. It's nice to catch up with some of the previous characters it lends depth and continuity. Thanks for another thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
DisappointingReviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2017
I've loved this series but it seems to have run its course. This story was predictable and lacking in depth as if the bare bones were written but there was no time to flesh them out. I enjoy the characters but I'm starting to fail to tell them apart. Maybe the success of the series is going to be it's ultimate downfall. I would prefer to wait to have a more rounded story well written than have a story which lacks substance, almost like a story board. It was good to meet some of the peripheral characters I've met before.

Well writtenReviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 March 2018
This is the second of her books that I've read. They're well written but I find the constant presence of friendly ghosts a little like kiddies ghost stories so I won't be buying any more of her work.
