Product Description

Bledig, a knight of King Arthur, carries a deep secret. He’s lycan. A beast he controls with a strong iron fist. He will not turn beast. He will not mate a wolf maiden and father lycan children. He will not leave his king.
Annora, a wolf maiden, is grounded in tradition. A wolf maiden must mate a lycan. Romance and her continuing intellectual pursuits as a scribe and historian are at the discretion of her future mate.
In the wilderness, Annora and Bledig meet. She is the beautiful woman he has dreamt of nightly. He is the knight in shining armor she had fantasized about— brave, handsome, and chivalrous. Their attraction is instantaneous. Her gallant knight is not just lycan, but the white wolf destined to unite all lycans of Britain.
Will Bledig reject his true destiny as the prophesied lycan leader of Britain and remain a knight of the Round Table? Can he deny his desire for the lovely wolf maiden, Annora, who has already captured his inner wolf’s heart?

Will Bledig find a cure to rid himself of his inner beast or submit to his wolf and claim Annora? Can they combat an evil pack that means to enslave all lycans and destroy King Arthur’s Britain?

White Wolf of Avalon, Werewolf Knight, Book 2 is a stand-alone, but just note that Lycan Gladiator, Book 1 in the Wolf Maiden Saga is also available.

I absolutely loved reading about King Arthur and his Round Table again, we all know the story. This time though Ms Gordon has written it with an added character, Lycans, and why not? It only makes sense that during a time when the great Merlin, his fae sisters like Morgan Le Fey and the magical Isle of Avalon with the Lady of The Lake existed, that Lycan would also.

Sir Bledig (Iron Fist) is one of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table, but his King and his fellow Knights do not know that he is a Werewolf Knight. He was raised by humans after his family was massacred and will not accept the beast that lives within him. He is plagued by a recurring dream of a beautiful goddess playing a lyre, not aware that she is his Wolf Maiden. He swears not to embrace his wolf, but to exorcise it and remain a Knight to King Arthur. He swears he will not claim his Wolf Maiden, but when the he sees the Goddess of his dreams in the flesh the attraction is fierce. Wiil the Knight succeed in ridding himself of the white wolf, or will he succumb to his Maiden's mark.

Annora is one of the few blessed Wolf Maiden's, but she is a scholarly woman who only wishes to write and study scrolls of history. She is aware of what her duty as a Maiden and hopes that the Alpha that claims her will allow her to continue with her love for knowledge. When she lays eyes on Bledig she sees the aura of the white wolf that has been in her dreams since childhood. She soon learns that she must forget her scrolls and use all her wiles to turn the Knight into the white wolf prophesied to be the Alpha of all the Lycans of Britain.

So much magic, intrigue, suspense, treachery and love. Before I became a fan of Paranormal I only read Historical Romances, so this was a real treat for me. This is definitely a must read for all fans of King Arthur & The Round Table, with shifters thrown in it's even better. Ms Gordon I really hope you write more of this Saga of the Wolf Maidens, a story of Melora and the pict wolf lad would be great.....wink, wink!

So if you are a lover of Historical Romance and Paranormal this is the saga to read!
4.0 out of 5 stars Camelot with werewolves!!! 6 April 2016
By Nikki Brooks - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I'm not a huge fan of historical romances but since it had a paranormal element and was written by Eva Gordon I knew that I'd love it. And I was not wrong! Ms Gordon has paid a great of attention to trying to get a proper medieval feel atmosphere to the book and that's saying something cos I'm a history nut and hate it when people take liberties with histories timeline LOL. Camelot may be of myth and legend but it is vibrantly brought to life here.

I love the face that the novel begins before the hero and heroine meet. There is a great buildup to their meeting and you get to see their lives before they meet and what problems they have in daily life. In this tale the alpha werewolf males can only breed successfully with human females. Whilst not a lover of damsels in distress, Annora had enough backbone to not make her a walkover.

Annora is a scholar, unusual enough for this time period when not many women could read or write, but also a wolf maiden who is being shipped off to chilly, wet and windy Britain to meet her betrothed. When her caravan is attacked by a rogue wolf who intends to make her his wolf maiden and therefore incite the rage of the council, the Lupercal. She manages to escape and makes her way to Bledig, but finds out that not only does he hate being wolf, he wants to become Christian and become a Knight at the round table! A women can stand up for most things in a romance but can she stand and win against a King?!?!?!

Morgan le Fay is a good witch, and her evil sister Morgause seduces her brother, Arthur and gives birth to the ill-fated Mordred. The plot is even paced and speeds up when the action takes place. The mythology is dealt with well, keeping mostly within the established Arthurian world with a dabble in the theory behind Stonehenge. There is action, adventure and derring-do with a whole lot of character. There is paranormal elements and shape shifting. What's not to love???

Waiting impatiently for the next one!!

Another great job by Eva. Twists and turns around every corner kept me wondering. Bledig a knight of King Author's round Table with a secret. Bledig wants to be rid of his secret and just be human, but fate has something else in mind that Beldig won't be able to refuse. Annora has be bequeathed to another that has evil in his blood and does what he wants not what rules are set forth for his kind. Annora and Bledig dream of each other but that's it until she sees him one day after escaping from her bequeaths brother who in a way tortures her. Annora is the key to unlocking the destiny Bledig must believe in to save many of lives. Will Beldig give into Annora as well for they are meant to be?

This book starts with a bang an just keeps on going... The characters are amazing. And the story is very well written. This story keeps you entertained from beginning to end. Bledig and Annora are strong individuals but together they are amazing.. Will Annora get her lycan wolf or will Bledig's own stubbornness keep them apart... Don't miss out on a great story and wonderful author....
I received an arc for an honest review.
4.0 out of 5 stars The White Wolf of Avalon by Eva Gordon is a ... 15 April 2016
By Stephanie - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
The White Wolf of Avalon by Eva Gordon is a historical romance with a paranormal twist. There was plenty of attention given to the world building and historical facets that brought an alternate Camelot to life.

A knight of King Arthur and a lycan, Bledig strives to keep his beast incheck. Goal…to become a knight of the round table. In enters Annora, the one who could put a kink into all of his plans. Wolf maiden Annora, steeped in tradition, must mate a lycan. Only the lycan she wants is not the one who is supposed to be her mate.

Bledig is loyal to his King and doesn’t want to mate and have lycan children. Aside for Annora, it seems his destiny is already laid out for him…destined to be the white wolf who unites all lycans in Britain. Will Bledig forgo his destiny and become a knight of the round table or will he rise to unite the lycans?

White Wolf of Avalon was provided by the author for an honest review. 4.5/5 stars
