About the Author
Julianne Kelsch is a novelist who spent her childhood lapping up words and living in the incredible worlds created by her favorite authors. She now spends her time taking care of her young brood of children and writing. She simultaneously lives in this world and the many worlds that exist in the layered recesses of her mind. Oh what a joy to have imaginary friends! A firm believer that childhood should not be lost to adulthood, she welcomes her imaginary friends and the time spent in their worlds. Of course, you can live in La La Land and not write novels - a fact which she is well aware of - so there's more to the writing than one might expect. Having grown up reading about so many different characters and life experiences, Julianne recognizes the changes that occurred in her because of these stories. Simply put: words are their own special kind of magic. She hopes to spin them into something that causes magic and brings beauty to the lives of others, as her authors have done for her.

An intense love story and a thriller. I wondered how much more the author would put her hero and heroine through, but gradually the background truth is revealed. This story will keep you on your toes and probably have you telling the characters what to do ' Noooo don't tell Ryan about James.. ..get out of town NOW..' A few things jarred, but I have never been to the USA, so perhaps I'm too used to relying on the NHS ... I wanted to yell at James 'For goodness sake call an ambulance' and 'Get the police to take the DNA evidence from her fingernails...' Talking of fingernails, this is indeed a nail biting tale and there seems no way these good people can escape....
I couldn't put this book down. I loved the range of emotions spanned and had to hang on for dear life to follow the brilliant and sudden and frequent transitions between them. And whenever I thought I was ahead of the book and had it all figured out, it would take another turn that I couldn't possibly have seen coming. A great read!
I couldn't put this book down. I am not a very big reader and this suspenseful book definitely caught my attention. I would recommend this book to anybody.
