This is the second book in the ( Then Comes Love ) by Lindsay Detwiler ,and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful story. Well I was reading this book my husband told me he was going to have me hospitalized for yelling at my tablet ,but that's okay he always say that . But I understand where he's coming from I have this problem that when people in a story makes me mad I yell and then I want to slap them up side the head. And that is what I wanted to do to poor Annie and Amelia sometimes .And then there's Charlotte that causes me to go into a laughing spell over something crazy that she did or something she said. These three women just got into my heart right from the very beginning of this series. But be prepared because out of no where tears will appear but then a few minutes later your be smiling again. Ms Detwiler has given us amazing story that holds our attention from start to finish ,and the emotions will have you feeling like your on a roller coaster ride that's all excitement and joy. Poor Amelia is having a life crisis and she's really afraid that Owen will walk away from her. But her and Owen's sister has really became quite fond of each other instantly . But everything worked itself out .But then there's Annie who has decided to help her ex-husband out because he just happened to be left with a baby to take care of, he got stucked with the child because his mistress just upped and left them both lover and her child. But Annie keeps telling herself that she's doing for the baby ,but at the sometime her mother and her inner self is saying it's trouble in the making . And as for Charlotte she still continues her wage war with her enemy Catherine ,but this still isn't going over well with her husband ,or with the assisted Living facility manager .But God is on her side because she hasn't gotten evicted yet . But I'm must have read something wrong because it seems her and her enemy is getting close ( WIPE TEAR FROM EYE) ? This group of people must realize that their family one way or the another ,because Catherine is Joe's mother and Charlotte is Annie's mother ,and poor Joe is in the middle of it all because he's married to Annie .But this medley of people are really family through thick or thin ,good or bad, their together with strength ,flaws, and everything that surrounds them . The characters I found was amazing ,lovable , and just all around relate able. The way that Ms Detwiler has written this story really provides some truly wonderful lessons , like not everything is prefect all the time , and as we all know love is behind everything. To me love is the glue that holds everything for us and it helps to get through all the rough things in life that we go through , But in a marriage everyone must work together to make it work and talking it out instant of fighting and don't go to bed mad ,just gather the love and hold it close. I could tell you more about this wonderful story ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this wonderful story, you won't be disappointed .
If you were anywhere near me while I was reading this book you'd think I was having a nervous breakdown. One moment I'd be yelling at Annie or Amelia, wanting to shake sense into them. The next minute I'd be laughing at something crazy Charlotte did or said. (I love that woman!) And then the tears would appear which usually turned into a smile a few moments later. Rollercoaster of emotions is putting it mildly. I freak-fracking-absolutely-positively-LOVED this story. I can't say enough good about it. It's been a long time since a book had me belly laughing, but Charlotte gets me every time. I could read a book just about her antics with Catherine. She's a hoot! Without spoiling the story, I'll say this was a wonderful sequel to Then Comes Love. A few of my favorite lines, "Love is never easy, and it's never promised" and "Real love, though, made all those bad moments worth enduring. Real love made the questions worth answering". These three women became like your family throughout the story. You'll want to hug them, comfort them, have a drink with them, and occasionally smack some sense into them. The story is real, it deals with real worries, real issues we face in relationships. And the covers to this series are some of the most beautiful I've seen!
This book returns us to the same characters as the first one: Charlotte, Annie, and Amelia and alternates point-of-view as the story progresses. Charlotte wants to go to Ireland, Annie is fixing a mess of her own creation, oh, and so is Amelia.
If I had to pick a theme for this story, it would be "what I should have said." Every character seems to struggle with words that should have been said but weren't.
I was just happy to have a little time with Owen back, as he was my favorite character in the first one and continued to be in this one as well. Also added to the mix is his sister, Janie, who is as "too good to be true" as he is.
I read the entire thing in a single night, which is one of the best compliments I can give a book.
4.0 out of 5 starsStrong story and enjoyable characters.

Believe it or not, this guy really enjoyed this entry in the :Then Comes Love" story line.
The part I love best is the feuding Ladies at the Assisted Living Center: Charlotte and Catherine. Although there may be light at the end for these two, I see more battles.
As for Annie and Amelia, you, the reader, are in for a fun ride. I loved the twists, the people from the past poking into their lives again and a lot of mystery.
Happily recommend this book, as well as the first entry and the Christmas special.
Where Love Went is a sweet follow up to the characters we came to know and love from the first novel, Then Comes Love. You should read the other one first so you know the background of each character and the story about what got them to the beginning of this novel. Each of the three main women finds love and has a difficult time keeping it, sometimes due to self doubt and poor choices, but the story is one we can all relate to in some way. The story is fast moving, the characters resolve their dilemmas despite overwhelming odds, and the story leaves you feeling good at the end. A great beach novel!

From beginning to end I was captivated. The characters in this book are so believable I found myself laughing and crying with them. I couldn't put it down. I wanted to see where their journeys were taking them. I recommend this book to all who love a good romance novel. I can't wait to see what this talented, young author has in store next for our reading pleasure.
