One of the better kept secrets is that early in her career, Jane Feather wrote under the name Claudia Bishop. This is one of her earlier novels.
The story revolves around a husband (Tycoon) and his wife (an artist) and adjusting to their lives as a married couple. She is as successful in her field as he is in his. Both are stubborn, but they both love each other.
Having survived (er, lived) this era, it is an interesting take on how romance was perceived in that time period.
I am a total Jane Feather fan and was curious as to how her style has developed as her career continues - this book is less intense and less meaty that her current books, but the style she has perfected is in her writing.
