The witty banter is beautifully written and kept me engaged to the end, not to mention the steamy adult scenes ;). I also enjoyed how several themes were woven throughout the story. I literally fell in love with the characters, and while I also loved Jade and Emmett from Why Stars Chase the Sun (Book 1 of this series), this book was even better. Definitely give it a read! I'll be reading it again and looking forward to Book 3!
Jasmine Winters is Jade Preston's life ling best friend and is anti-relationship. Having been burned in the past she is always up for casual hookups and if she sticks to one guy for any amount of time it's only a couple of weeks. So what happens when the burn from her past moves back to Austin?
Dean Preston couldn't pass up the new job his friend Charlie offered, so that meant a move back home. Closer to family, closer to friends, and closer to someone he doesn't really like to acknowledge is special. Will he be able to break through the walls to figure out what happened so long ago?
I loved Jasmine and Dean's chemistry, their history and their story. Both have their own demons to fight and personal battles to get over. I truly enjoyed this story and cannot wait to get into Elliot's next!
