Product Description

Doughnuts were her weakness.
If Sadie Mullins hadn’t been running on the beach to burn off the calories from her doughnut addiction, she wouldn’t have noticed the man not moving out in the water.
Wouldn’t have dived in after him.
Wouldn’t have met West Montgomery.
The cocky bastard should have been thankful, grateful even.
Of course, he wasn’t.
That should have been the end of it.
Of course, it wasn’t.
Damn doughnuts.

WOW! Wet was a fun & sexy story! I read this book in half a day because I couldn't put it down. I loved the underlying chemistry between West and Sadie - and their moments together were always hotttt! West is the perfect book boyfriend - gorgeous, sexy, smart and a killer inbetween the sheets. I couldn't get enough of him. I loved Sadie, and I really just wanted her to find her HEA. Now I really NEED the next book!

Sadie, the leading lady of Wet, has spunk, but she also has her vulnerable side.

You see, in opening ourselves to loving someone, we gift them with the ability to hurt us, and Sadie ... Sadie gets hurt in a rather sickening way.

Moving away from the source of that pain, she abandons her fledgling business and the familiar comforts of her hometown in order to find the space to heal.

According to the plan, that healing isn't supposed to include a new relationship, especially with someone like West Montgomery.
Though their fledgling relationship stutters and falters, Sadie's hope continues to grow, and her heart continues to heal, but there's always that bit of doubt that West isn't the kind of man someone like Sadie should pin her hopes on. In doing so, she's once again opening herself up to that possibility of pain

You'll have to read the book yourself to find out how that plays out. I'm not going to tell you.

I will tell you, however, that while I wouldn't go quite so far as to call it a cliffhanger, the ending does leave a lot of things ... unresolved.

Told entirely first person from Sadie's POV, Wet is an engaging and often funny story of a girl who moves to the coast but is afraid of the ocean. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and can't wait for the promised sequel ... Soaked.

3.0 out of 5 stars CLIFFHANGER AT THE END! Read at your own risk 19 May 2015
By woodstock - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Read WET at your own risk. That's pretty much all I have to say because I was screaming and cussing at my screen for a few minutes at the end. I'm giving this book three stars (that's being generous on account of how I feel right now) just because I hate CLIFFHANGERS and I was really hoping that there would be no more BS going on between Sadie and West! Don't get me wrong, its a great book, it has its moments where it was hilarious and it moved along and i enjoyed it immensely, but there was just so much drama going on between Sadie and West that had to do with Aubrey near the end. I don't know if I'll get the next one or not but if you like cliffhangers and the drama llama then go for this book, but I was a bit disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible!! 8 May 2015
By Jennifer Van Wyk - Published on Amazon.com

I absolutely adore finding new authors. Whether new to me or new to the scene, it makes me happy. What's even more? When a new author just blows me away.

Stacy's writing in Wet is engaging, demanding and powerful. I found myself laughing at loud, fanning myself from the steamy scenes and wanting to scream! All the makings of an incredible book, if you ask me.

I was completely hooked at the prologue and never wanted the experience to end. I love that I both hated and loved West. He was deliciously cocky, witty, laid back and totally chill. Almost to the point where I was like "dude! Come on! Pay attention!" Sadie was incredible - she was also witty and pretty laid back, she was strong and held her own. I love that I wanted to be friends with so many of the secondary characters, too. Theo, Rue, Hailey, Wyatt... the group of friends had great chemistry & camaraderie. I loved the banter and experiences they had.

Congratulations to Stacy on an incredible debut novel of Wet. I can't wait for Soaked!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wet Yourself! 16 May 2015
By Abbey Funk - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I'm so glad that Amazon recommended Wet to me. I'm a huge fan of finding and falling in love with new authors to stalk. Stacy definitely earned herself a book creeper in me with this debut!

I read a ton. I think I read around 700 books last year and of those maybe two did I leave reviews for. For me to leave a review I have to fall in love with the hero and the heroine. West and Sadie did not let me down.

I love that they are both independent with their own friends and jobs keeping them busy. Neither character needs saving, even though they tease about it. I'm getting incredibly tired of reading female characters who need rescuing. It's so overplayed.

If you're like me and love a story with fun, strong characters, crazy dogs, awesome supporting cast, donuts 🍩 and laugh-out-loud moments then quit reading my comment and get yourself Wet!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing debut novel!! 12 May 2015
By For the Love of Books - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
If I hadn't heard that this is a debut novel by author Stacy Kestwick, I wouldn't believe it. This book is so well crafted that it suggested it had been written by an author of many years experience. All aspects of this book were 5 stars but I particularly loved the characterization. I really felt like I got to know Sadie, her strength and vulnerability combining to make wonderful girl. West, I think, has a little bit more to show us, have we seen the real West yet? I also loved the supporting cast, if I can call them that? Rue, Theo, Aubrey all added such a lot to the stor, they make a story real. Most lives have more than 2 people in them. Oh and I cannot forget General Beauregard, how amazing is this dog. He could almost have his own story. I am now a firm fan of author Stacy Kestwick and congratulate her on a wonderful debut novel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ah-Mazing debut! 8 May 2015
By Anneconley - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I loved this book. The story was compelling, even though I'm not a fan of New Adult. It did not have the typical cliches that so many NA books have that turn me off. Wet was fresh, funny, dramatic, sexy, and all the things I love in a story. The characters were relatable, deliciously flawed, and had me routing for them the entire book. Of course, the entire story couldn't be told in this book, and I understand why, even though I hate it. I have mixed feelings about cliff-hangers, but the thing that gets me is I hate them the most when I'm emotionally invested in the story, and that's a sign of great writing. So, even though I hated that it ended the way it did, there was really no other way for it to end, and I can't wait for the next book in the series!
