Product Description

Unbonded wolves are unsafe--something Rainer "Rain" DuBois knows all too well. As a former leader of the Black Wolf Rangers, it's his job to find them, protecting packs from all over the country. With a mission to lead a team of enforcers into the heart of Mexico to face off against a madman, nothing can derail him from his goal.

Until he meets Nora Cavanaugh...

Teaming up with Rain is just what Nora needs to escape her relentless and unforgiving family's grip. Always forced to walk the line, Nora craves a little rule-breaking of her own. But working with Rain ignites a magick that Nora thought fizzled out long ago. Giving in to that pull, that familiar and hot sensation, just might put them in more danger than they ever imagined.

COMPLETED SERIES!
While each book in the Moonbound series is a complete and satisfying romance arc, there is a larger suspense arc that is revealed in pieces and not fully resolved until the end of the final book. We highly recommend reading the books in order, and starting with Book #1, The Werewolf Cowboy.

Ranier DuBois’s only mission is to lead a new team of enforcers into the heart of Mexico to find a madman…until he meets Nora Cavanaugh in this sizzling paranormal romance.

Nora sees the mission as a way to escape her father’s overbearing grasp and the reader can’t help but get drawn into the thrills as giving in to the magick puts Rain and Nora in horrific danger. The sizzling chemistry ignites some red hot passion that is an undeniable pull as these two come together but the relationship has a major drawback – it could get someone killed which has some pretty strong emotional angst flowing from the pages along with the heated passion. These strong captivating characters grab the reader’s attention while the well written, fast paced and smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense and romance while spine tingling tension builds in regards to the ongoing investigation into the unbound wolves which has sent them after a madman and adrenaline pumping tension builds as Nora reveals just why giving in to the mating magick should be the very last thing they should do.

Once again, the Moonbound series has proven to be an electrifying experience with Rain and Nora’s story turning out to be a bit different than expected and I can’t wait to read the next one.

The Werewolf Ranger is book 3 in Krystal Shannans and Camryn Rhys' Moonbound series.
Rainier DuBois is an army ranger in the Black Wolves company who is pulled back by his alpha to help out with the unbounded wolf situation. In order to release tension after a shocking revelation at the alphas summit, he hooks up with snooty princess Nora Cavanaugh. As much as he try's to stay away and focus on his mission! something keeps pulling him towards her instead of away.
Nora needs to escape, even for just a moment, from under the oppressive thumb of her tyrant father. She finds a moment of peace with hot ranger Rainier. But when fate starts pulling her closer to Rain, how can she protect him from suffering the same fate as her previous mate.

These instalments just keep getting better and better. What both Rhys and Shannan are doing really well with their Moonbound series is that each character has their own individual and unique personality which translates into a new enjoyable read each time while still following a central storyline in the same world. And the wolves Nora and Rain in this story are no exception. Each have their own baggage and trials they must face but are reluctant to pull the other in until their inevitable fate is revealed.
I really enjoyed both the characters of Nora and rain, both strong and independent and will have to navigate new territory as they deepen their relationship and try to protect the other.

I was gifted a copy by the authors in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC of 'The Werewolf Ranger' from Krystal Shannan, in exchange for an honest review.

Krystal & Camryn have me HOOKED, I couldn't wait to start reading. 'The Werewolf Ranger' is the third book in Krystal & Camryn's "Moonbound" series, also it's a spin-off/ continuation to Krystal's "VonBrandt Family" series... I might even suggest you at least read Krystal's 'To Win A Mate' prior to starting this series, the "Moonbound" series should also be read in order. I think Krystal & Camryn did an outstanding job in co-writing this book & series, all the facts are there, the characters, old & new are so life-like, they locations mentioned are realistic. The Alphas have finally figured out where to start in their mission to find the source of the unbound wolves, a selection of wolves from ALL packs are placed together & start the journey to Mexico. Rainier finds the stuck up Cavanaugh she-wolf sexy, drawn to her, he finds out they have both been placed in the team. Nora just wants to escape from under her fathers control & the mission to Mexico allows her to that, drawn to Rainier, feeling the familier magic swirling, she tries to stay clear of Rainier in fear of your past...

One chapter in & I was entranced with what I was reading! Bring on the next book in this series.

Rain is a Ranger and head enforcer for his pack. Being sent on a mission to Mexico is something he understands and is ready for. Being drawn so strongly toward a wolf he didn't even know, well that, he was not ready for.

Nora is an Alpha's Daughter and newly made leader of the team being sent to Mexico. The plan is to shut down the unimaginable things happening there. Nora is ecstatic to get away from her father, and she wants Rain more than she cares to admit, but she can't let her heart get involved.

This was a great short read. This is part of a series but can stand on its own. Rain and Nora come together with such unbridled passion that an inferno burns through the entire story. The characters are all interesting and developed just the right amount to shine in this story. The ending is a bit bitter sweet but there is a HEA. Passionate and entertaining from start to finish!
