Six episode New Zealand X-files parody show. Thought it was going to be a mixture of Motorway Patrol and the X-Files but they seem to forget the camera crew is there after the first episode (making some of the situations in The Things That Do the Bump in the Night episode not make sense if they were there). Most of the screen time revolves around two Wellington police officer characters (who are sometimes joined by their sergeant) and to be honest you get a bit over them after a while, since for the situation jokes to work all three police characters, but especially the male officer is very low in intelligence (Kelly Bundy level). They also seem to get less intelligent each episode.
Basically in the first episode officers Minogue and O'leary on patrol on a Wellington pedestrian mall come across a girl they think has been partying to hard, but it's obvious to the audience she's possessed. When eventually they work out something is off about her their sergeant back at the station tells them the Wellington police have a secret division that deals with paranormal activity which he leads and he's secretly assigning them to that division. But the girl escapes custody and even though they keep coming across different relatives/pet or hers that the demon has switched into the two officers never quite catch on.
The next five episodes are them being assigned to different potential paranormal crimes, such as cows being put in trees on a farm, a plastic bag ghost in the street outside a fish and chip shop. A noise complaint about a party that has been going on since the 70's in a house where the party goers just disappear. There's a werewolf, a vampire (which becomes a creepy clown episode half way through, and a zombie episode. The zombie episode is easily the best simply because it involves a lot more characters, since various police get bitten and become zombies.
There are some funny visuals and sight gags. But really the after the first one, the episodes can drag on at times, for example the I'm in the toilet gag in the house party episode. They could easily have combined a few encounters with different paranormal things (episodes) into each episode to keep the pace up and have less repetitive filler in between the good stuff.
