A bride for a vampire.

I love this series. In this book Alf gets a booking for a wedding and is dismayed that it is on the same day as her grand opening of the Whittle Inn. But she decides that she has to start somewhere and accepts the booking. It is only after that that she is told by Gwynn (her great grandmama) that it is a vampire wedding! The trials and tribulations abound with an evil vampire groom and a beautiful human bride. To complicate matters, the Mori are still hovering around. There is much for Alf to do.

The weird wedding is there but there is so much more in this book. A dead body, strange illness in the town, wedding guests with a difference and an underlying romance for our lead. Another great read in this series bring on the next one,

This series goes from strength to strength. Book 3 has new delights such as a vegetarian vampire and wedding guests who arrive in coffins as well as the now regular ghostly treats. My favourite character is Florence the deceased maid smouldering happily forever, who helps our hero Alfhild cope with running an inn full of potential and ghosts. Has Alf bitten off more than she can chew catering for a Vampire Wedding? In true Wonky Inn style it's a rollercoaster ride where anything could happen but you'll be surprised at what does. A joy to read.
