Woman is in love with man. Man is arrogant, self centered, abusive, but (of course) handsome and rich. All ends happily. Oh, come on . . . This is demeaning to both women and men. Both the main characters need a good seeing to - the woman needs to get a backbone and the man needs to be more of a real man and not some neanderthal with an exagerated sense of their own importance. A quite ridiculous plot.
Why are there so many books that spend so much time on the angst and misunderstandings and very little in character development and a good ending?
I liked the concept of both the heroine and hero. She was a quiet achiever but nothing developed from to make her outstanding. He was sexy and a millionaire but I didn't see the excitement of being one. What's the point in having a millionaire hero if you don't get to see the glitz and glamor? That's why I choose sexy not blaze or cherish or medical etc
The writing style was good but to me the ending it putting together an outfit. You can have the best hair and dress, but without the right shoes the whole ensemble can crumble.
