Ok positives first great recipes I'm excited to get baking.
The book on a whole felt disjointed it's meant to be a mystery series I got halfway through the book before a murder happened and it's not like the first half of the book was romance either because there really doesn't seem to be much chemistry between Hannah and Ross, I mean I hated the love triangle between Hannah, Norman and Mike so I guess it was great Hannah picked someone but to be honest I would have preferred her character to stay single than pick a guy who just doesn't fit her but they seem comfortable.
When we got to the mystery it was good I loved how she discovered the killer and the cooking competition was great but it all didn't meld together as well as her earlier stories did.

This was an okay read. I became frustrated with the amount of recipes frequently placed throughout the chapters, especially when all you wanted to do was keep reading. The recipes should have been kept for the end of the book.

Just the best!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 April 2019
Really interesting and and absorbing storyline! I could do without Ross, but, apart from that this is one of the best Hannah Swensen Mystery stories I've read - and I've read them all, in sequence. I think introducing Ross was a huge mistake as we'd all been led to expect that Hannah would make her choice between Mike and Norman. How Joanne Fluke is going to resolve this, we'll all have to wait and see............
Yet another mouth-watering hitReviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2017
I have all the books, and as well as enjoying the crime-solving and romance, have a go at some of the cakes. Now Hannah's married, I wonder what will happen to the men in her life!

Good book with a happy ending. Some good recipes wish the measurements were in UK rather than USA
