Weaving Fate (The Omega Prophesy #2) - Nora Ash
Oh - Nora Ash! This was SO WORTH THE WAIT – So worth it! As we pick the story up at Odin’s Hall in Asgard, we realise that our beautiful Omega Annabel is again doomed to be separated from her bonded mates!
Annabel continues her adventures with another two of the brothers fated to be hers! Modi (son of Thor) and Bjarni (son of Loki) are both Alpha Godlings with bodies built and sculptured to perfection for war and battle. These Godlings find their biggest battle lies in taming the Omega who is destined to be their mate!
As we travel through the human realm in search of the elusive Loki, the god of Mischief and sire of three of Annabel’s fated mates, then on to the disturbing and dark land of grey nothingness known to the Gods as Hvergelmir. Therein resides a dangerous dragon who feasts on the root system of Yggdrasill (Norse equivalent of the Tree of Life) and who does NOT like visitors to his realm.
The usual warnings of 18+ for hot and steamy Alpha/Omega couplings. There are more than a couple of scenes with multiple participants giving this a five-alarm heat rating from me! So sexy!
If you love this author, then you must read this second book. But beware, we end on another cliff hanger. Bring on book three! Four stars.

Everything you would look for in a great RH Omegaverse
Reviewed in the United States on 25 June 2020Verified Purchase
This book was the perfect blend of action, suspense, heat and even humour -- what made for a fantastic, five star Omegaverse read.
Before reading this book, I did a quick re-read of Ragnarök Rising (book one in this series) and would recommend others do so too. For those who have not yet read the first book, don’t even attempt to read this one before doing so because you would be lost.
So, we pick up at the end of book 1 and Annabel is left in a flat spin when her two mates are part of the four who were just “arrested” and are surely to be severely sentenced by the "Allfather" - Odin. The 3 Lokisson brothers and Magni’s only hope is if Annabel, Modi and Bjarni complete a challenge set out by Odin himself and he does not make it an easy one. I won’t say much more about the content of the story as the author too has said plenty in the blurb and saying anything more would just spoil it.
What I can say is we get to know more about the 2 Alpha’s highlighted in this book (Bjarni and Modi) and I loved how even though Bjarni is known to be the brawn & fighter amongst the Lokisson brothers, he is actually the gentle one with a kind heart and loves to cook for his Omega but pushed too far, then yes, that fighter in him comes out with a vengeance. Modi Thorsson comes across as a "alphahole" for most of the book but a person can't help falling for the big brute. He is most definitely a warrior alpha and tries his best to ignore Annabel and what he sees as “only instincts” but there is also more to him and a reason for the way he acts but can Annabel break through to him?
The book is written from a multiple POV, it is a fast burn that seriously heats up the pages and is a RH romance. There is a slight dub con warning but written in such a way that you do know the actions are actually what everyone wants/needs and this is an Omegaverse after all. Please also be aware that the book does end on a cliffhanger … you thought the ending of book 1 was bad, then this one might just have you pulling your hair out (I for one will be counting down to the release of the final(?) book in this series - Betraying Destiny).
I was fortunate enough to receive an arc of this book (also purchased it myself) and this is my honest review.

What the what?!?

All right so this book was so amazingly good! Annabel finally gets to know 2 more of her 5 mates better and finds that being an Omega tied to these 4 Alphas in not so bad. In fact it's better than she thought. Of course the journey to this realization is not easy, fraught with regret and confusion it takes time for them all to arrive at clarity. This story was full of adventure and some laughs and I enjoyed every moment of it. That ending though....dang it my heart stopped and then fell in disappointment. If you're not a fan of cliffhangers then I woukd suggest you wait till the series is complete. However, make sure you do read this series. It's so good and the world in it is so cool.

I'm enjoying this take on Omegaverse and mythology
Reviewed in the United States on 21 July 2020Verified Purchase
Annabel has a lot happening in this 2nd book. She has to save her mates, work with more alphas who are supposed to be future mates, outwit a god, and worry more about Ragnarok. All while being conflicted emotionally about some of these very things she has to tackle.
I enjoyed the way this book flowed with how the plot is moving forward and action balanced with emotional moments and steam. Annabel is pulled in different directions but she's still trucking and I appreciate that ability in her. I really like Bjarni and I was not a fan of Modi for pretty much the whole book, although I understand his mindset and him as a character.
The book does end on a big cliffhanger and I have no idea what's going to happen next, which I personally enjoy.

It's not a 2-book series.

The story is very engaging but I was aggravated enough to leave a three-star review instead of four because I am so annoyed that this series is advertised as a 2-book series. I despise cliffhangers so I purposefully did not purchase the first book until the second one came out. Lesson learned. ALWAYS read the reviews for cliffhanger warnings before you buy. Now we have to wait until June of 2021 for resolution. By then, I will have forgotten all about it. I'm so irritated.

Captivating, addictive, and beautifully written.

Amazing that a story that involves traveling through a relentless winter can be packed with so much heat. Mixing Norse gods and their complex mythology with an omegaverse touch is one thing, adding the reverse harem is another. The emotions and depth amazed me, forcing me to fall in love with these alphas even at their worst. Annabel is an absolute treasure, and I really wish I had a Bjarni to feed me and give me all the purrs.
