Packaging. The books and holder come wrapped in thin plastic, so if the handler were to mishandle the package you might have some damage to the outer sleeve that holds the three books. I had some minor corner issues, but nothing that I personally would complain about. Just warning everyone.
The three books, entitled "A Galaxy at War", "Dark Millenium", and "The Rules" come in a very nice outer sleeve, nice graphics, thick cardbard, everything you could ask for from a book sleeve. It's nicely made and nice to look at.
After you get done admiring the outer packaging, you get the pleasure of pulling out one of the books. They're all nicely bound. Very nice feeling in the hands. Each comes featuring a different character on the cover. The covers and binding are all really solid and great. Full color artwork and pictures from cover to cover. Thick, glossy pages. These books all feel more like coffee table books than anything else to me. Very satisfied.
"A Galaxy at War". This book features an Ultramarine on it's cover. Throughout the book is various little lore overviews of various different armies/factions, as well as spectacular full color photos. Not every faction/army is listed, but the vast majority of them are.
"Dark Millennium" covers the overview of the whole Warhammer 40k lore. Once again featuring spectacular photos and drawings, all in full color glory.
"The Rules" cover exactly what you would expect. The rules. Everything is full color and glorious, It's also the largest of the three volumes.
10/10 would buy again.
