Product Description

Did you ever have something so tragic and frightening happen that you did everything in your power to convince yourself it wasn’t real? Have you ever been so paralyzed with fear you prayed that if you simply closed your eyes and slowed your breathing, everything would be fine?

Yeah, me too.

Only this time, none of that worked.

When Sara’s past comes back to haunt her, she’s enveloped in a world that only existed in her nightmares. Taken, her life flashes before her eyes as the one man who threatens her existence slowly lets her in on his plans for their future.

When the woman he loves is snatched from his life, Alek’s world is turned upside down. On his way to rescuing Sara, he’s faced with decisions that could change both of their lives forever. Will his uncertainty rip apart their fragile relationship forever or will he rethink what he’s about to do?

4.0 out of 5 stars Great wrap-up to the Addicted Series! 22 July 2015

Great ending to a great series! Readers finally get everything answered and explained about our beloved characters, Alex and Sara! You'll get a few more surprises, some which are a bit more predictable, but, it'll still deliver in interest and intrigue!

While I really enjoyed this series, I'd give the whole thing a 4.5 star rating and mostly because of the last installment. Wanted felt a bit more rushed and redundant in terminology or wording and a few words felt overused ("ravished" being one of them! Ugh!). Maybe it's just me, but, in all honesty, I just feel like that word should have changed out in several instances (how about controlled, commanded, demanded, mesmerized, captivated, enthralled, etc.?!)! S. Nelson is still a fantastic writer and I definitely commend her ability to produce these books as quickly as her publisher demands (which may have pushed her to get the third book out faster than the others?)! These three books were the first I've read of hers and will definitely look to read more of her work in the future!

My only other complaint, though it's not directed toward the author or the writing, is that the 2nd and 3rd books weren't available in Kindle Unlimited. Come on Amazon (and participating publishers!) - if book 1 in a series is available in KU, make the rest of them available, too!

3.0 out of 5 stars I enjoyed reading the series 24 February 2017

I enjoyed reading the series. I was glad that the author did not draw out the cliff hangers from the previous book (same for the first two books in this trilogy). Some of the plot made me mad Spoiler alert..... Sara getting attacked in the bar in the first book would have happened whether Alek had come into her life or not (remember he stopped it) also for 8 years Samuel had been locked up so no threat from him...BTW usually the victim is warned that the culprit is getting out of prison she had no knowledge. So that story line of him wanting to break it off was foolish, then adding Cora into the mix was sad, and what about the cousin Cameron??? what became of him after the beating?
If Sara really didn't want children, then she should have been taking care of her own birth control and not relying on condoms from Alek, especially when they got serious and even married, that was a silly plot. Also, this trilogy reminded me of two other book series.....Fifty Shades and the Crossfire series.
Over all I did enjoy these books, but some of it could have been more original.

5.0 out of 5 stars Series Review! 18 March 2017

WOW! I love this entire series!
At first I was skeptical, and I don't even feel entirely comfortable mentioning this, but there're are a few similarities between this series and others I've read. However, the more I continued, the more I got swept up in the lives of Sara and Alex. I love their love. His crazy ways and ever desire to keep her safe proved to be extremely difficult for both of them. She definitely has her hands full, and I can't say I would or wouldn't do some of the very things she did. It was a roller coaster for me and I felt some of the same emotions as I read. I was frustrated with both of them. I love the thrill of the story and how the past continually haunts them. Will it ever end and will they ever find their happy ending?! Two thumbs up and 5 stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved books 1-2 19 August 2015

Wow! What can I say? I loved books 1-2, but 3 had me feeling a plethora of emotions. Sara and Alec are all over the place. He makes a decision that changes both their lives leaving them both empty. More information is given on Sara and Alec's background which could add more insult to injury.

Without giving away spoilers, I'll see this was a really well written book. Most people will look at the cover and expect the book to be solely about sex. It isn't. Although there are some very hot scenes, the book, actually the trilogy is so much more. It has a lot of depth and gradually pulls you into their world, never wanting to leave.

S. Nelson does an impeccable job telling the story about to persons who met by fate....but is fate enough to keep them together?
