Another great installment in the Broken Heart series. This book 4 and we finally get to hear a bit more about poor old Ralph Genessa, the only man to have been turned by Lorcan in the first book.

Having lost out on Eva to Lorcan in book 2, Ralph has continued being a lonely soul. However, this book is told from the point of view of Libby Monroe, a journalist visiting Broken Heart looking for paranormal stories. Libby finds herself stuck in Broken Heart and fighting a growing attraction to lonely Ralph and his little twin boys. While all this is going on between them, there is also something of a war brewing between different factions of the undead and an angry dragon on the rampage after Libby ended up with some of its power.

This series is still funny, still heart-warming and still worth reading. I whipped through this book very quickly and couldn't wait to pick up the next one.

I'm a fan of the series. I honestly think as it goes along it gets better in my opinion. I read some reviews on it and there are a few who didnt like this book in particular and it mostly had to do with Libby and Ralph. I dunno...I just didnt see it I guess. I found this to be hilarious and I so laughed out loud a few times. I read in one sitting and stayed up late to finish it. Now, I can understand a little how some would be annoyed with Libby's character she was a bit all over the place in her thinking. However, once again I will say that when I first read about Jessica in book one...nobody so far has beaten her annoying little self. LOL. She's gotten better although she really wasnt in this particular book. I actually felt for Libby for most of the book. Its one thing to investigate paranormal things and quite another to witness it, and to be turned into a freaking dragon! Although Ralph and Libby's chemistry was hot it wasn't necessarily off the charts like some of the other characters romances. Dont get me wrong they totally had it, but I think circumstances sorta made it sub par. I mean he had children to think about for instance. There is also the whole thing she's a dragon and the town didnt know if she's safe or not. She was unpredictable for sure and definitely needs training on how to control herself. What irked me though was how she was treated at first. I mean she was new to town yes and snooping yes and accidentally on purpose turned into a dragon yes. For Stan to do what he did and she's family? She was experimented on! She was betrayed by pretty much everyone and even including Ralph. She couldnt trust anyone for a good while. This story was different compared to the other books. It wasn't centered on the wraiths but dragons, Lia's character, and LIbby's transition to her powers and Ralph's as well. I liked Ralph a lot because he's a gentleman and an exceptionally good guy and father. I totally recommend this book and although some will find it lacking...I don't. Onto the next book for me!

What I Loved: I really love the continuation of this series and how it is encompassing the books that came before it. The couple in this book were both very lovable and relatively equals (no real alpha/beta). He was a strong male role model: good father, loyal husband (when his wife was alive), and had good priorities. She was a strong, educated, and earthy based person that you could count on. I really just enjoyed watching them fall in love (and no that isn't a spoiler--it is a romance novel LOL)

What I Liked: I really liked her parents. Her mom cracked me up! Also still love the triplet werewolfs--they are just a breath of humorous fun times. I enjoyed seeing the couples from the first 3 books and their kiddos.

Complaints? Only 1--and I will preface this by saying that I am going to reserve judgment till the next book but if the town gets blown to pieces much more, will there be a town?

Why I gave it a 4: This was probably my favorite book in the series so far--barely nudging out book 2.

Who I would recommend it too: PNR lovers who like a light read or chicklit lovers that like a little PNR.

Wait Till Your Vampire Gets Home is the fourth book in the Broken Heart series. Ahhhhh I just loved reading this book. I just fell in love with Libby and Ralph and I was just so sad to turn the last page. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Well, Broken Heart has a new paranormal being, DRAGONS!!! I loved the beginning of this series, but the 3rd book was disappointing, now, book 4 has picked back up :-) I really enjoyed this one, (although not as much as books 1 and 2). My main complaint is that there are several action/fight scenes and they always seemed rushed and not well explained, I felt like I was skipping paragraphs or pages. Otherwise, it was very entertaining and had a really fun cast of characters.
