Going through the book and understanding that the brain can’t tell the difference between physical, mental, emotional threats, and treats them all the same, in my case pain signals even though there was no physical damage, was profound.
As I kept telling my brain I was safe and literally sending safety signals, the pain gradually went away! So many people are suffering from chronic pain with no solution. The process will be the same for my high blood pressure – as I pull the others pillars into more balance – it will take care of itself, and I can be med free. This book gave me a lot of peace of mind and a path to follow!
Over the past couple months I have experienced the effectiveness of these connection tools to communicate in a way that is healthy for me and those whom I Love the most. Several chapters illustrate this connection process. I so appreciate the more joyful and hopeful experience it has gifted me. My past great diet, fitness attempts , etc have not been sustainable. Unexpectedly this connection process now stacks the deck in my favor. I am So thankful!
