Favorite Quote:

She undoubtedly knew about their semi-private island in the Bahamas and how they were photographed nude via a long-range lens from a supposed vacationing yacht cruising by. If I had to hear about my father’s junk again I would scream. It was bad enough to have your mother call you and tell you to steer clear of the internet because your father’s huge packet was everywhere.

My Review:

Evie may be a waitress in the Café yet she was much more than just that, and her favorite customer was much more than he appeared to be as well. Together they made sizzling and harmonious musical connections, hit all the right notes, and earned a standing ovation. The storyline was well orchestrated and melodious.

Wednesday: With Lots of Cream is book 3 in the Hookup Cafe Series and was a great short read. This story can be read as a standalone but the series is great so read them all. A beautifully written romance.

This is the story of Evie and Nate, she is the child of rock stars, hiding from the world working as a waitress in a cafe, he is an award winning songwriter hiding as a tattooist. They meet in the cafe and their relationship develops quickly following open mic night Wednesday. They both are holding back on sharing their secrets, although they find they need more than a fun summer fling.

Reviewed for Amo and Sarah's Book Corner.

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!!!! 19 April 2017
By Amber Michelle Morales - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I received an arc for an honest review.

I love that each book has a character from the cafè find someone they think won't last very long with. And Evie was no different. With her love of Music and fashion Evie was safe in her shell and out of the spotlight that her parents were in.

And she liked it that way. She enjoyed her back-up singing with the band, but did it in the shadows and being in charge of open Mic at the cafè every Wednesday without actually ever singing up on stage. Until Nate almost outed her and she had to nip it in the bud before he did or rather kiss him on the lips.

It was only supposed to be for fun.
Nate was leaving come the end of summer.
It wasn't supposed to be more.
They had their secrets they weren't ready to share.
But one day everything changed for both of them and they realized that they wanted each other even if they were afraid of the unknown.

These books are so sweet in more ways than one. From it's yummy goodies at the cafè to it's sweet and endearing character's. Nate and Evie sure know how to rock on.

And I can't wait to see what Thursday brings.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just keeps getting better and better! LOVE THESE NOVELLAS! 21 April 2017

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

Another great novella by Fifi Flowers! Wednesday With Lots Of Cream isn't as steamy as Tuesday, but my god, it still sweet and tempting! We get a sweet, tattooed hottie and a barista who is in charge of mic night. The charm of Nate, had me melting and sighing. Even though this story isn't as...deliciously dirty as Tuesday, Wednesday has a charm that really is undeniable. I love the slow building passion and the genuine good storyline. This novella can easily sweep you away and that is what I enjoyed most about this story!

The one thing I am always impressed with, is Miss Flowers's way of writing. She intrigues me with her characters and her simple cafe and simple life the women of the cafe seem to have just draw me in. Add in some , domineering, or sweet heroes, and I am HOOKED! In Wednesday you get the sweet, sexy hero and I couldn't like him more if I tried. What a treat!

Wednesday With Lots of Cream gets a SWEET AND CREAMY FOUR SHOOTING STARS! It definitely has me craving a nice cup of coffee with lots of cream, that is for sure.
5.0 out of 5 stars Hot guy with Tattoos, what more can you ask for?! 16 May 2017
By Heather - Published on Amazon.com

This is about Evie who wants to check out open mic night on Wednesdays at Café. She loves music, it’s actually her passion and she wants to get a job helping out. Pansie hires her. One day she sees a gorgeous guy with tattoos. His name is Nate and he owns a tattoo shop. Evie also likes fashion. Nate also loves music and low and behold they are perfect for each other.
I liked the chemistry between Evie and Nate. The way they didn’t find out who they were really until met her parents was just fun to just picture it.
This is a standalone.
Parts of the story I liked:
Towards the ending.
“Draw from your own life’s experiences or borrow from life going on around you…”
“Lost in the moment composing our own rhythm, lyrics, melody, we harmonized beautifully in a perfect tempo; slow dance to begin, followed by a frenzied cadence to hit a synchronized coda-an erupting finish.”

5.0 out of 5 stars but her real love is music 20 April 2017

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Wednesday: With Lots of Cream is the third novella in the Hookup Cafe series.

**Carla's Five Star Review

Evie works at the Cafelicious Cafe, but her real love is music. Because of personal issues along with stage fright, Evie steers clear of the spot light. She loves her job at the cafe, and it is here that she meets the sexy and tattooed Nate. What starts out a casual thing turns into something much more.

One thing that I really like about this series of novellas is the fact that each story is unique. Wednesday: With Lots of Cream is a sweet love story about two people with similar interests and backgrounds who are completely drawn to one another from the moment they first meet. What a fun and fast paced addition to this awesome series!
4.0 out of 5 stars Evie and Nate both love music and so much more! 13 May 2017
By Phuong Richardson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I am enjoying this series about the characters from Cafelicious! and how they find love while working at the cafe!

This book is about Evie, who is one of the barista at the cafe and who enjoys music. Evie is in charge of open mic night at Cafelicious! and also a backup signer for a group at a club. She notices a tattooed, sexy guy named Nate that came into the cafe. She finds out that Nate is into music too and the 2 embarks on a casual relationship. Evie gets scared when she finds out that Nate wants more than casual but Nate finds ways to convince her that what they have is real.

We find out the secrets that Evie and Nate are hiding but will these secrets tear them apart?

The books in this series are short (novellas), romantic, and funny to read.
